What apps, networks and tools would you like to see added to the HootSuite App Directory?

Blogger

It would be interesting if we could post our updates directly into our blogs hosted on Blogger. It's definitely something that would make a difference! :)

        When I am trying to compose a message blogger or intagram is not listed as one of my social networks to connect to?

        This would be great; however, I am getting to the section where it puts the stream in, but where you select either Disconnect or Save, I've clicked Save (as per the YouTube video), but it doesn't go any further than that. If I choose Disconnect, it deletes the stream.

        What do I do from here?

        Frakkin sweet! It took long enough. Now if I can just find out how to add it to the rest of my automatic posting profiles.

        The app in question does not work. Throws an error and never connects. Not really surprising, as Google is always messing with the background code, and more than once I have had to make changes in custom code I've written up myself for shunting from my blogspot sites to elsewhere.

        Thanks Jack E Zehring, that is an excellent suggestion!
        Unfortunately, it allows only one-directional cross-posting: FROM Blogger TO Hootsuite.
        It doesn't help us post something FROM Hootsuite TO Blogger. :(

        Set up and RSS Feed using Blogger's Feed for all the social media networks you wish to "send" the blog to... THUS only update your blog and Hootsuite sends an appropriate version to the sites you have set to use the RSS Feed. Catch: Free version only supports 2 feeds. So upgrade is required $9.95/month is not bad for the time saved.

        Host several sites via Blogger. Interested in working with and just signed up for Hootsuite, because I'm looking to simplify managing content and add in delivery systems such as Twitter. Kinda bummed to find out that Blogger isn't supported, despite a forum here dating back to 2010. Lame.

        "coming months"....that was in 2010. I just signed up with Hootsuite to use with blogger, not realizing it wouldn't work. Please share how to sync, if possible, before I cancel!

        Lack of the blogger support is the only negative with Hootsuite, and one big enough for me quit it. Tried it, liked it for multi social sites integration but cutting out blogger is a massive blunder.

        Two years and nothing? It really shouldn't take this long since the blogspot API is easily available script an H.S. post to go straight into a blog.

        I think you should use Blogger in addition to Wordpress. Mainly because Blogger is what Google uses (and I do too) and well we all know Google is flying off the charts with Android, our whole Jefferson County school system just switched over to Google, AND even our State Employees all now use Google, etc. these days. Besides that isn't America all about competition? Isn't HootSuite suppose to make ones life easier?
