If I add a rss feed I will like it to be synchronized with the other rss reader automatically...

I have dozens of RSS feeds and would like to import them all at once using OPML and see all updates together in a single stream - so I can easily see the newest content from a variety sources.

i can only add one profile to my rss reader, but would like to be able to add two or three profiles to my blog's rss. why does this function no longer work???

The idea will be to stream your blog, stream some other blogs or feeds you are likely to interact with (like, share, repost) and have the ability to pull out Thumbnail image, tags (# will be automated while sharing a post to your twitter account), categories will work the same. FYI some wordpress plugin does it, pull out your blog with proper tags so why not Hootsuite with a stronger RSS feeder?

Because the OPML file import utility expects a Windows like filesystem, a customer using the importer

Currently Hootsuite supports secure connections (https://) but the RSS Reader app doesn't, so I need to change from a secure connection to a non-secure connection to use the reader.

Could you include support for secure connections somewhere down the line? TIA.

Your app is great. I would suggest that you add more robust sorting or grouping features. I have multiple feeds that cross disciplines. It would be worthwhile to at least view single feed sources one at a time. For instance my e-mail marketing feed have articles and my seo feeds have articles -- but I don't find it useful to see them mixed together.

Many times I'll create a blog article and want to craft a specific message for different channels.

I would like the ability for Hootsuite to create a task when it finds a new article on an RSS feed. This way I can craft a different introduction based on where I'm posting the link.

Essentially be able to share the RSS stream you have generated with Team members. Or have an option to export the stream you have created and then allow them to import it. Some way to do this. Thanks.

At the moment you can only see the title of each new post in the RSS feed. It'll do, but it would be great if you could customize the view to see the first few lines/paragraph of the actual post as well.

I would love to visually see my RSS Articles Greyed-Out after I share them through Hootsuite, so I can keep track of what's been shared already.

Currently the HootSuite app only allows you to post to twitter, facebook, foursquare and linkedin. It would be nice to have instagram listed there too allowing users to post to all these social networks in single go.

I want to be able to do a search for news (in my case I need blood clot news) and have the news results show up in my reader. I can do this on one of my readers using google news' RSS feature. I can't get it to work here though.

It would be great if the RSS Reader had workflow capabilities (email, assign, etc.) like some of the other apps such as Twitter and Facebook.

If you tweet a post, it should be marked as sent to avoid reposting.

As it is now, I can only see about the first 23 characters which isn't enough to tell the difference between IBM DeveloperWorks feeds.

I pulled and deleted my feeds from Google reader, and when I returned to the site, they were all deleted.

using IE8,RSS reader stream is too short.
