allow @tagging of friends/fan pages within Facebook status updates

I want to be able clear read tweets/status updates that I've already read..
I'm coming to HootSuite from TweetDeck and it was very useful for me to be able to clear my columns after I'd read/skimmed through my received tweets and status updates so when I next looked at TweetDeck I start with a clean slate and don't have to try to remember/find where I left off in each of the five Twitter accounts, three Facebook fan pages, personal Facebook feed, and two mySpace pages that I manage. I really love HootSuite, but this is a feature that I'm really missing from TweetDeck.

Include retweeter's information in the column for user's own tweets retweeted
As it's already present in other types of retweet columns (it seems absurd on the column for other tweets retweeted by the user, though).

Add some user options to Auto Scheduler
I like the Auto-Scheduler concept – I try to only post to our social network accounts about 3 times a day, however, and my first two “auto-scheduled” posts have been scheduled to go up within 45 minutes of each other.
Perhaps a customized setting where a user can specify a minimum time period between postings?

facebook page home feed
When using a facebook page it only shows the page's feed...
Would be nice to be able to see the facebook pages HOME feed (of all the other pages this page has liked)... until this is possible I will still need to log into facebook to catch this stream. would love to be able to just stay in hootsuite.

Please add a stream to track new followers
Being able to track and respond to new followers is essential. This stream option is available on TweetDeck, but I would rather use HootSuite. I hate having to switch back and forth...besides, the TweetDeck app eats up tons of memory and slows my laptop down...a lot!
880 votesRight now, if you want to track your new followers within HootSuite, you can go to the Contacts section of the dashboard. Here, you will be able to view your followers, and it automatically sorts them from newest to oldest.
As for a dedicated stream, it is something worth considering which is why we continue to mark this idea as “under review”.

Offer the option for pop up notifications (especially desktop client).
I like the sound notification. But that is only for the live tab. We loose out on what is going on in the other tabs. Especially if we are working on other documents and have hootsuite in the background. A optional notification for all tabs would be great. A optional pop up would be even better. Again...for all tabs. Not just the live tab.

Relationship Status
Hootsuite for web should show the relationship between my account(s) and the person whose profile I'm viewing in much the same way Hootsuite Lite for Android does

Recurring events
Schedule recurring events from the scheduler without having to do a batch. See Sprout Social's service - very robust and clear reporting, simple user interface for scheduling recurring messages. I would rather upgrade to pro on hootsuite and have this ability here instead.

Combine multiple streams into one column
It would be super helpful to be able to create a container stream (column) that could have other streams added to it.
In other words, I would like to be able to create a column two which I could assign arbitrary stream sources.
For example, I want Home for a Twitter account for a brand, News Stream for a Facebook Page for a brand and a Twitter search related to that brand all in one column.
The options for a stream column are currently, "Filter By" and "Delete Stream." What I would see is, "Add another stream..." that would allow…

Allow us to drag and drop sort the social network icons on the top right (the ones we checkmark)
It is difficult to to eye scan all the social network icons inside the platform to which I might want to stream a message. It would be TEN times better to be able to sort them from left to right in the order that I prefer. And it would be even better if I were able to add separators (like Firefox bookmarks) in between the set of group profiles. (icons - upper portion of website)

Add ability to filter out tweets based on hashtags.
Often I like to follow every tweet from one person exept one topic this person also talks about.
For example I want to filter out every tweet that has the hashtag #htc or #android, because these topics don't interest me.
Another example: Remove every tweet that is a retweet from @someone I already follow.
285 votesRight now, you can do this in a search or keyword column by adding the “-” argument in front of the term you’d like to filter. This functionality is not available yet in home feeds and mentions columns, though.

Allow the creation and editing of Facebook events.
I think being able to create Facebook events for each Facebook page from the dashboard would be extremely useful. That way, I wouldn't have to leave my HS dashboard to create and edit events and I could also send links to the events via twitter and other networks.

I'd like to be able to surf the follows of other users to make it easy to find new people.

Threaded DM conversations - a la current @replies
Add a "show conversation" button for DM's to match the way @replies work. It's difficult to track conversations sometimes in the current setup.

being able to Group Profiles into groups so that you can select one Clients group and it contains all those profiles.
We manage numerous corporate companies Social media, and it is a huge problem that we cannot group certain profiles together for instance create a group for a client and that group contains their profiles and when you post you choose that customer group. this avoids mistakes made . This would be a huge benefit for any Social media Company

Either like the @[suggestion] feature, or a new feature that utilizes entered text or frequently used hashtags, the user will see recommended hashtags to add to post to help us maximize our use of the feature.
