Everytime I pull the cursor over the refresh tab button, with a few pixels left the bar opens and I visit the publisher section and back. I think manual refresh is the most important button on Hootsuite so it should maybe be bigger and in a more spaced position.

I wonder who follows me on own timeline. I'm getting confused many twitter and would like to give unfollow in some, but I'm wondering if that person follows me. I want to clean my own twitter by HootSuite. The system could be color eg red color for who I follow and come after me. Green for my fans and yellow for who I follow, and she follows. It would be super helpful to be able to create a container stream (column) that could have other streams added to it. In other words, I would like to be able to create a column two which I could assign arbitrary stream sources. For example, I want Home for a Twitter account for a brand, News Stream for a Facebook Page for a brand and a Twitter search related to that brand all in one column. The options for a stream column are currently, "Filter By" and "Delete Stream." What I would see is, "Add another stream..." that would allow me to include any other stream that I could otherwise include as its own column.

Maybe it's just me, but 9 steps just to do something as basic as reading tweets in chronological order seems like a lot. I'd like to just press a button to (or have Hootsuite automatically) load tweets above my current position, so I can just scroll up endlessly and read my stream in the order it came in. Thanks.

I think if you could have the above suggestions looked into + removing the 'posted by hootsuite' or allowing that to be replaced by something else eg 'posted by company name' with link to page. Also allowing links to go out as normal not just ow.ly to allow for SEO benefits from URL names. If all of these could be addressed you would have a much more powerful tool.

While bit.ly is a competitor, it would be great to have it integrated with the analytics, but only for PRO accounts. This may get more people to sign up for HS, and make the analytics more valuable.

I use lists extensively to organize the streams that I monitor and target. I would like to be able to export All of my community (lists members, friends, followers, etc.) to excel so that I could conduct ad hoc analysis (e.g. sort by no. of followers), and add ad hoc columns per tweeter for notes, scores, etc. Ideally I would be able to create a table where each community member is a row, and default columns would include twitter account follower, friend, listnames (up to 20 per account), number of followers and friends (people they follow), for each member. Any other data from twitter pulled by Hootsuite (e.g. when member`s account was created, frequency of tweets, location, etc.) would be ideal for adding as columns if desired. Each column would be checked where relevant so that, for eg, a person might be a member of more than list, be a follower in one of my twitter accounts, and a friend (I follow) in another as well as be a member of one or more lists in that other account. Being empowered with this data about my communities from Hootsuite together with Excel`s awesome analytic power would incredibly enhance my efficiency, effectiveness, knowledge and learning.

SUGGESTION to those on this thread who do not wish to have to log into Facebook and other networks where you wish to follow comments and likes, consider using a news reader. I use NetNewsWire on my mac, there are many readers for all computer & phone platforms, and many of them, like NetNewsWire, allow you to group feeds into folders, and to view the combined streams when you click on the folder.

Bulk Schedule doesn't work with accented characters. Characters with ASCII values greater than 128 cause 500 Internal Server errors or timeouts. What's strange is that the upload works fine for all messages before the accent, then error happens, then the HootSuite screen doesn't provide any feedback. Non-English users are really going to have a difficult time. On the other hand, you can schedule tweets individually without the Bulk Scheduler and those tweets are sent out just fine.

When using a facebook page it only shows the page's feed... Would be nice to be able to see the facebook pages HOME feed (of all the other pages this page has liked)... until this is possible I will still need to log into facebook to catch this stream. would love to be able to just stay in hootsuite.
