Enable automatic repeat messages. Once set they repeat as requested. Once a day/week/month/yr
Certain free places already do this - would be nice to have with hootsuite. Scheduled tweets are fine. But to automatically / repeatedly send those out, at different intervals to fit in with Twitter guidelines (once set) would be ideal!

Allow the creation and editing of Facebook events.
I think being able to create Facebook events for each Facebook page from the dashboard would be extremely useful. That way, I wouldn't have to leave my HS dashboard to create and edit events and I could also send links to the events via twitter and other networks.

Twitter Stream API
Twitter has a stream API which allows a live view of the users twitter stream. Documentation is here http://dev.twitter.com/pages/streaming_api. TweetDeck (and ChromeDeck), and Seesmic both support it, and it's a great feature, would be awesome to have it in hootsuite too.

Schedule Facebook post for scheduled, but yet unpublished blog post
It's great that we can schedule facebook posts with the image, but the blog post has to be live to do this. I would love the ability to enter my blog admin credentials so when I schedule a week's worth of blog posts to auto post in the future I can also pre-schedule the facbook posts before the blog post has gone live. We need a way for hootsuite to get into the blog and pull the info. Or whichever way is best; the bottom line is: it doesn't do any good to schedule a facebook post for a blog… more

Allow Schedule and Upload of pictures to Facebook without needing a Twitter account as well!?
I can't believe it's not possible to upload/or schedule a picture to be uploaded to Facebook without the requirement/necessity of having a Twitter Account as well. Sort this out please Hootsuite, this is a basic requirement.

Rows in columns to improve efficiency
Allowing rows to columns is given the option of placing two or three similar columns to save space (eg messages sent and received, or put more than one search). And avoiding the small screen scroll bar.

I would like to see a gadget for iGoogle home pages so I can manage my sm from my homepage dashboard using just one gadget.

show comments in assignment list
When a FB-posting is assigned, comments to that posting are not shown in assignment list.
as a consequence a team member must go back from the assigments list to the news-streem and has to search for the posting in order to be aware of comments.
very poor workflow management.
as a pro user i would have expected that to be solved.

Integrate Facebook Developer Application Pages
It would be nice if hootsuite would integrate facebook developers application's pages into the stream. I constantly converse with the users of my applications and would love to use hootsuite for it!

add global filters for keyword, application, or user
It would be wonderful if, as is with some other clients, I could filter out tweets from specific users, filter out mentions of specific users or applications (like paper.li, for example) or by keyword.

HootSuite now has filters based on keyword and Klout score. This feature is currently exclusive to users on a Pro plan.
Filters based on application and user is also something worth considering.

Hide Games from Facebook Updates
When FB friends post updates with games they are playing (like Farmville) I like to hid them. They don't show up on FB after I hide them, but they keep showing up in Hootsuite. Hidden people are removed from Hootsuite, but not hidden games

Bulk Edit, Invalid Characters, Repeat Scheduling Option
I have been using HootSuite quite often with my job. I have a few suggestions that might make everyone's life a little easier when scheduling tweets, facebook posts, and linkedin messages. Recently I used quotations and apostrophes in my tweets. It wasn't until later I realized those characters were not accepted in Twitter. I had to go back into all of my scheduled tweets and delete every quotation and apostrophe. Currently, we do not warn users when their CSVs are not UTF-8 compatible. However, we’d like to add this function to a future release.

It would be awesome if it would be able to connect hootsuite with a facebook places page so it would be possible to post updates to a facebook places page for a owner of that place.

Allow exporting of column(s) to a .CSV format
it would be much easier for running twitter contests to have this capability in Hootsuite!

Interesting idea.
Right now, you can import your Keyword Tracking streams to a .CSV file. To do so, you’ll first need to archive your keywords. Here’s how to export your archives:

Rotate Ow.ly images
Can't believe that with the inevitable phone upload not being properly in portrait or landscape that Hootsuite doesn't give us any way to rotate. Seriously??
