I had an idea to extend the input fields to be more complex (optionally) where we can customize content to go to different places without rewriting content for each user/social network.

For example, let's say I have this content to provide to Facebook & Twitter:

Twitter content - Free food today when you come to our restaurant! Visit our site -> mysite.com #location

Facebook content - Free food today when you come to our restaurant. Visit our site (link generated)

It would be nice to have fields, similar to the Tumblr tagging field, where you can specify certain links/tags/etc. to be placed in specific networks.

So there can be a #tag field, where you can input the #tags before or after the content, and a "link" field where the link can be added/omitted.

So the default wording would be "Free food today when you come to our restaurant! Visit our site"

The fields could be *add tags for Twitter* where you can add the tags and then choose whether they should be before or after content.

You can also do *add link* where you can add link, and can choose whether to add at the end of content, embed only in Facebook, show link in Facebook etc.

It would make it so much easier to deliver content, and adding the fields could be endless. Considering how crowded the input box is already, maybe you can allow people to allow/omit these options from the dashboard.

I was also thinking if possible to create default content, and then customize content for different networks (ie: multiple boxes). Essentially it would copy/paste default content, and you can filter/add content via these fields in each box. So you would have a box for each user/social network chosen.

The facebook stream is nested, in the sense that it is all top level posts, and comments underneath them. This makes it easy to miss comments as people add them to old posts. I get notifications from facebook by email of new comments on my page, but even then it's hard to go find the comment to reply in hootsuite. It would be great to have a view of the facebook page where all the posts and comments were in a time-sorted stream, so you'd see the latest comments at the top. Facebook has this on its web ui, for example.

I'd love to be able to set up a tab and 'add' specific social networks to that tab so when I'm rearranging streams, adding in new info, adding new streams, etc, I'm only going to be dealing with the specific social networks I'd 'added' to that tab. I currently have my tabs set-up by site, for example 'Widgets.com' - 'RedWidgets.com' and then each tab has streams for the social networks related to that site. But when I go to add a stream, I've got to dig through my networks to find what I'm needing. Having the ability to 'add' a social network permanently to a tab would be swell.
