let users report spam messages to Twitter & 3rd party spam reporting services like TweetBlocker.com
Other Twitter clients like Twitterific and the iPhone Twitter app let users report spam messages and spammy users. This would be a great feature on the web version and in phone apps.

Create Facebook post targeting option
Facebook fan pages that are currently 5000+ have the option to target their post based on gender, age, occupation, education, relationship status etc. This would be very helpful to include as an option! If not, our targeted facebook posts will have to be made exclusively via facebook and I have really loved the integrated features of Hootsuite with twitter and other networks. Thanks!

add the ability to search LinkedIn updates
I find a lot of value from searching for keywords or brand mentions in people's updates in LinkedIn. If I could have a column searching for my brand in LinkedIn, alongside the existing Twitter brand search column, it'd make my life a lot easier!

Remove any 'via' tagging from status updates to Facebook
Allow posts to Facebook from HootSuite to look like they were made directly on Facebook.com, with no 'via' tag.
1,119 votesWe’re happy to update this feedback request with new information from Facebook. Facebook has recently removed the 3rd party ‘via’ tags from status updates to Facebook Pages. Status updates, links and posts from HootSuite will now appear as they do through Facebook natively.

The ability to export scheduled messages
If we can import posts, it would be nice to be able to export the posts. For past scheduled - it would be great to export these posts with the date and any analytics pulled for each post (likes, comments, RT's, @mentions).

Add a second confirmation dialogue box before tweeting from specified accounts.
I keep hearing about people who use dashboards for multiple social media accounts sending out tweets from the wrong account by accident. HootSuite could solve this problem (and save many jobs) by adding the ability to require double confirmation for certain accounts. In other words, if I have six twitter accounts on HootSuite, I could set the three corporate ones so that when I tweet from them a dialogue box pops up where I confirm that I want to send that tweet from that account.
IMHO, this is the best idea I've ever heard proposed for HootSuite!!!

Delete multiple scheduled posts
Now that we can bulk upload can we please bulk delete the scheduled posts rather than having to delete them one at a time?
15 votesWe’re happy to announce the release of the bulk delete functionality for our HootSuite Publisher! Going forward, user will now be able to delete multiple scheduled messages at once in the HootSuite Publisher.
Once in the Publisher, check the boxes of the messages that you would like to delete then click the trashcan icon towards the top of the page. If you would like to delete all scheduled messages, check the box above the list, next to the trashcan icon, then click the trashcan icon to delete. Note that it will ask for confirmation before deleting

Enable export of Pubisher calendar data
Would be great for reporting to clients on the forthcoming and past scheduled activity. Then integrate that into the stats data for the ultimate picture of tweet performance.

Add calendar exporting and color-coding (campaign identification).
I have groups that would like a hard copy of all our messages and I hate having to create a separate document on top of the calendar in Hootsuite. It would save me time to just be able to export the publisher or even the calendar from Hootsuite. I would also like the ability to color code the messages. For instance, if I could color-code campaigns it would provide a visual representation of how much messaging we are doing to support one topic.

allow keyword filter of a user list stream -- keeps out noise
Thus, you could change the keyword --if you want to filter your news list for only Hurricane Alex.

To add this stream, please first reconnect your Facebook page to accept the new permissions.
To reconnect the account:
>Select User Profile (top left)
>Choose your Facebook Page
>Choose Settings
>Reconnect through the Connect to Facebook Button.Then, choose Add Stream and the Facebook Page you’d like to add this stream for.

Make the character count show the LOWEST available characters for the services selected.
When you choose a Facebook AND a Twitter account, the character count shows the HIGHER of the two, rather than the 140 count. If I am posting to both, I need to know the max I can use between the two, which would be the lowest maximum, which would be 140, not 420. Please change the counter to choose the lowest max of all services chosen, so it will post correctly to all. Please Vote!

enable photo uploading to an already scheduled post
It would be great if you could upload a photo to an already scheduled post. I recently scheduled over six months of happy birthday posts and was told afterwards to add photos to each post. Big annoyance since I have to schedule everything completely from scratch again.
53 votesWe’re happy to announce that users can now edit previously scheduled messages to add an attachment. To do so, from the Publisher view select the pencil to edit, and then click the paperclip to upload the image.

Tracking follower growth over time
There should be a way to get the increase/decrease in the number of followers you have on a month by month basis (say for a 3 mnth, 6 mnth and 1 year period)

Add retweet in the lists
I read my tweets divided in different list (hootsuite columns). But here there aren't retweets. There are just in the Home stream.

Add an Option for higher quality or original size/quality photos to "HootSuite Photos" Facebook album. Current resizing and compression yield unacceptably low quality images uploaded to the FB album.

We’re happy to let you know that development pushed an update last night that greatly improved image resolution to Facebook. You should no longer see a decline in size and resolution when posting through HootSuite.
