Show an icon in the "People" list to indicate if someone is following you/you are following them
Would also be a great to have in the profile view (when you click on someone's name): Simply an icon that tells you whether you are following that person, he/she is following you or you're mutually following each other.

In the Contacts section of the dashboard, there’s now an icon that indicates whether or not you are following someone. The “+” icon means you have not followed them yet, and the “-” means you are following them.
