Delete @mention comments

I would like the ability to delete folks off of @mentions please. Need to delete rude comments.

This isn’t a functionality that is currently available through Twitter.

If Twitter will not enable users to delete a spammer mention, could not HootSuite create a "hide" function at least? This way the mentions are not deleted, but at least hidden from view for HootSuite users.

they really do need to find away where people can get rid of inappropriate things people say out their mentions/timeline . I tried blocking , all it does was block that person , but their mention is STILLL there .

A spammer 'mentioned' me with a link to a malware website. I'd like to be able to delete a mention that refers to me...

If this continues and there is no way to get rid of it displaying I will have to go another route...don't want others (much less me) exposed to the crap

I too want to remove an unsolicited mention of my account name that directs people to a site I don't want associated with my name! I should be able to remove it.

I want this too. Especially when the mention twitter has an animated gif as icon!

Yes, I completely agree! Otherwise the spammers win. I have to look at that message for days until other @ mentions cover it up. This is very important to me! Thanks.
