Email alerts for failed scheduled updates

Having updates go out on time is important. If updates aren't going out as scheduled, I need to know ASAP - even if I'm not logged in to Hootsuite.

        PLEASE DO THIS. I really need to know when posts don't go out, especially for Facebook. Hootsuite had some technical issues in the past, and I'd like to know if they don't go out for that reason too so I can post from elsewhere.

        And why are old posts not displayed in the calendar? What's the harm? You could make them opaque like in Google Calendar to indicate that they are past posts. That way, if there is a problem, it's easy to notice.

        Another option is to add them on top in the 'scheduled posts' box in your streams with a red BG color.

        Just some ideas... Anybody else facing this same problem?

        There really should be some notification of a failed scheduled post. I lost several weeks worth of posts because of an authentication issue with LinkedIn. I didn't even know there was a problem.

        I had a similar issue like Dak Huntley where my scheduled tweet didn't go out but was scheduled. Did I do something wrong? Is this a problem that is confirmed/duplicated and being worked on?

        YES! Please do this... When HootSuite errors out on a FB message (which is WAAAAY too often) I need to know by email immediately, not have to check the UI.

        I scheduled a message to go out at 10:30 this morning. The message is no longer in pending stream, but I still do not see it in Twitter or my fanpage.

        I find specially interesting the automatic retry as soon as psooible after a filed scheduled tweet. It happens all the time and I miss a lot of scheduled tweets because of API problems, so please, add it to the next version.
