Option for higher quality or original size/quality photos to "HootSuite Photos" Facebook album
Add an Option for higher quality or original size/quality photos to "HootSuite Photos" Facebook album. Current resizing and compression yield unacceptably low quality images uploaded to the FB album.
Hi everyone!
We’re happy to let you know that development pushed an update last night that greatly improved image resolution to Facebook. You should no longer see a decline in size and resolution when posting through HootSuite.
Please take some time at your earliest convenience to try this out! If you have any further questions, please let us know! We’ll be available in the forum to respond to any questions here: https://forum.hootsuite.com/hootsuite/topics/image_quality_deteriorates_on_facebook_when_posted_via_hootsuite
Sincerely,

I'm still seeing a decrease in image resolution when I post images to Facebook. Any reason why this might be? Going to have to stop using it for this soon as it's important that images are uploaded to my brand's FB page in full resolution.

Between this and bulk schedule deletion, Hootsuite is paling compared to the competitors.

Is there a fix for this yet? I also have the same issues with low res images posting to Google Plus. I am a new customer and the fact that HootSuite posts to Google Plus is the main reason I went with your service instead of Sprout Social. if this isn't fixed soon I won't be able to justify paying for your services.

If this issue doesn't get solved we'll have to start looking at other tools like sprout social. Low Res image is really 1999...

Thanks for working on this, it's almost unusable with Facebook posts with smaller text.

We are leaving Hootsuite in 2013 and moving to Sprout Social because of this.

This option has been voted on since this time last year, are any closer to a resolution?

Yes! We definitely need the images that we upload through Hootesuite to adhere to the maximum image sizes that Facebook allows! The smaller size is horrible!

Tried out Hootsuite scheduling of a picture post and was dissappointed to see a low-res image uploaded to Facebook. Will not use Hootsuite again until resolved. Can't you guys use http://imgur.com/ instead of ow.ly?
