I suggest you ...

Allow to Bulk Schedule WITH photos!

Currently you can bulk schedule with urls, I would like to include both a url and a picture in the scheduled post. As pictures become more important and even larger on Facebook Timeline pictures are becoming critical. PLEASE add this feature ( i would gladly pay more for it!)

I really would love this feature and images are shared a lot more than text within facebook pages. I don't want to use an ow.ly url, I want an actual upload of the image please.

The only way I can do it at the moment is schedule it from facebook itself.

I think if you just add an option with which you can just add the url/address of the picture file in your machine this can be accomplished.

I was also going to purchase a full membership.. Makes me feel sad.. do I really need to seek alternatives? I loved the idea to be able to bulk schedule with images... scheduling text posts is almost useless unless you don't want nothing going viral. We need to seek alternatives to this case as scheduling posts without images just sucks... Maybe consider implementing this with certain limitations? I would just say, scraps the CSV file and work on the scheduling platform.

Since I can schedule for example 24 posts for an entire day with 24 images with about one hours of work, I'm sure you guys can think of an alternative where I could simply upload 24 images, add the times for share.. a message in front of it and VIOLA! Doing this in 20 minutes would be better than doing it in more than one hour! Let's work on the interface! Give the option to manually schedule and upload 10 to 100 images at the same time.

Perhaps instead of making the process so tedious with a small upload screen.. a larger upload interface where we could upload 20 images, 30, 50, 100 images at the same time and schedule with 'ranges' or something of that sort in the uploading screen.. would be way better..

I can design a basic functionality layout if you guys would like.

The point that has been made is a very important one and I do not like the fact that an Ambassador would simply reply Declined... Developers are to overcome problems not create them. So I have a solution to suggest....

what if there were a gallery section on hootsuite (simple drag and drop) and then you could match the name of the picture given in the gallery in the csv. file ?
only the name of the picture would be written in the cvs file and you would have to create a gallery section whose size you can limit (so ppl will have to delete the old photos of the gallery to add new ones)

How god awful is that reply, well, if thats technically unfeasible then I'm cancelling my membership.

        Bye

Ok, I have followed the advice of Alece in another post and have started a trial with Sendible. Guess what, using their bulk message import feature you can add an image and a separate article URL to a simple CSV file. I have tested it to my Twitter, Google+, Facebook Fan Page and LinkedIn profile. It works sweet as a nut in all of them. So, Sid is right. The Ambassador of Happiness is talking a load of old bollocks and taking his paying customers for a ride. Hootsuite has the remainder of my 30 day Sendible trial to sort this out or I'm off!

Right, is Chris going to respond to ALL the people below that seem to know that this CAN be done from a CSV file or do I have to close my paid account and move to Sendible (because they seem to know how to do it!!!!).

      • RyanRyan commented  ·   ·  Flag as inappropriate

How about linking to an image then and having hoot-suite display the image from the link rather than the link itself. That you can do with a CSV file . . .

bulk posts to facebook pages without a picture is useless. You mist find a way to include this feature.

I just downgraded to free because I couldn't bulk schedule image posts to facebook. Will this be changing anytime soon?

Having tweets with pictures.... is like having the trays in my refrigerator door, or a car with sun visors....a feature that is just expected.

Wow. I join the crowd as I'm doing a 30 day trial now - only to see that my pic URL uploaded not with the photo but with the tiny url. Useless.

Get with it guys - you are a technology company.

And Chris? You've got many things to learn about customer service pal.

I was about to purchase full membership, but now I am not going to. Posting on Facebook with no pictures is like not posting at all... I can schedule individual posts via Facebook itself if I have to do it one by one...

      • EnricoEnrico commented  ·   ·  Flag as inappropriate

I agree with Sid. It is possibile to add this function and it would be priceless...

      • Anonymous commented  ·   ·  Flag as inappropriate

Yup! Its a gotta have! I had this afternoon scheduled to purchase hootsuite, and Im terribly glad I held off.....because this was exactly the function I needed.

Also, a CSV file is about as old-school as it gets. You need to build a web interface.......

      • Ashley GoodwinAshley Goodwin commented  ·   ·  Flag as inappropriate

Agreed, this is very needed! Please reconsider allowing this option for paid customers.

      • RubenRuben commented  ·   ·  Flag as inappropriate

I'll add my discontent with the "Ambassador of Happiness" assessment and add to the choir that bulk upload is possible with URLs in a CSV file.

Images are only becoming more and more important on social media and if you don't add this, someone else will and steal your customers. So get on it!

Hate to say it HootSuite BUT Sid's comment is completely correct. Nice and easy to implement, a bit too quick on the Decline I think.
