Combined 'Pending' column for all social networks

I find that if I have a series of tweets/posts scheduled in Hootsuite for multiple social networks, and then discover a typo, the only way to correct it across all the various social networks is to open a pending column for EACH social network and make the change across them all. It would be more convenient to have a unified 'Pending' column where I could edit, or even add/remove social networks for this tweet/post.

        I would love a stream showing all pending tweets, i have one in tweetdeck so it can't be all that hard to program...right?

        Maybe hootsuite can create a new stream that's simply a scratch pad, or drafts stream. Each entry would need to be "scheduled" and then get split out to each pending stream. That way the current processing doesn't need to be changed, just add a separate function and stream on top of it. Once the post is "scheduled" it leaves the scratch pad and it's business as usual. Until then it's simply a place to work on setting up posts to multiple streams in one place.

        Having the pending messages post from the combined pending stream is ideal, but maybe in the meantime, the scratch pad/draft stream can be done.

        It would require an extra step on our part to make sure a scratch post/draft is scheduled. But worth it if I can edit them closer to the time they need to be posted.

        I too would give it all my votes if I could. This would save me a lot of time!

        Agreed! My team be willing to pay for this feature as we all manage multiple accounts from various businesses.

        @Melissa, As mentioned by Kevin, CoTweet does indeed provide a unified inbox - one timeline for all of your accounts. You can then choose to filter by specific account.

        Hello,

        There are currently no softwares on the market that allow businesses to monitor multiple accounts in a unified inbox. Seesmic Desktop originally did support this, but their software has become buggy and unreliable and they have failed to include the feature in their newer products.

        This would be a STRONG addition to your product. If it helps at all, I influence marketers at a national level on which softwares to use to monitor social media (I own a national annual conference, and am a frequent public speaker and consultant).

        I would love love love to see this feature,

        i'm with lightmanx5 , when we type a message, keep the original message in memory instead of splitting it right away. then we can easily edit just 1 message before its sent off to the networks, or re assign to other networks before it is sent out. easy to do. maybe chris needs a vacation ;)

        @Chris What if HootSuite maintained a list of pending updates and didn't split them out in to the accounts until they were scheduled to go out. Just remember the update text, URL, photo, or what-have-you, and which accounts they were marked for.

        You know what I mean? Delay the separation to different accounts.

        Hopefully this makes sense :) it seems like it would be really easy to do!

        Chris, how hard would it be to do this via the same form we schedule updates from already? Seems to me, it actually would not be that hard to use that existing setup and then in the some way we we save / get drafts via the drop down, make the "Send Later" a drop down to edit our pending updates.
