Failed scheduled tweet alert
There has to be a better way to inform me when a scheduled tweet has failed to post due to an API problem.
Right now, you have to manually check the pending tweets column.
Better options:
- An alert across the top of the main page
- Email alert
- Automatic retry (if user selected) for a set period of time
We’ve implemented a better way to inform you of when a schedule message fails.
In Publisher, go to Past Scheduled. There, the messages that have failed will be flagged in red. If you click on the message, it will then offer an explanation.
Currently, this feature is only available to Pro users, though we are considering offering it to free users as well.

I had a similar issue like Dak Huntley where my scheduled tweet didn't go out but was scheduled. Did I do something wrong? Is this a problem that is confirmed/duplicated and being worked on?

YES! Please do this... When HootSuite errors out on a FB message (which is WAAAAY too often) I need to know by email immediately, not have to check the UI.

I scheduled a message to go out at 10:30 this morning. The message is no longer in pending stream, but I still do not see it in Twitter or my fanpage.

I find specially interesting the automatic retry as soon as psooible after a filed scheduled tweet. It happens all the time and I miss a lot of scheduled tweets because of API problems, so please, add it to the next version.
TIA
Jose.
