Allow us to be able to save template messages for repeat use!

Just as you allow a quick drop down interface for draft messages. Allow us to save template messages for repeat use.

How is this different from draft messages?

  1. after you post a message, save it as a favorite so that you always have it for future use. Then just go to your favorites column and retweet it.

  2. I see the opportunity for abuse. However think of it like this.
    I want to create a rule that says: repeat this message to this channel 1 time every 3 days until X date. This could be... dont forget that October 12, 2010 is the big event! for details http://ow.ly.... and so forth....

    Draft messages do not have routine scheduling features. Draft messages do not re-create the ow.ly links. Draft messages cluttered with saved template messages adds confusion to those of us who want to create more than a handful of marketing or branding messages.

    Perhaps next to the 'Save As Draft' button you can create a "Save As Template" button and then a 'schedule template' feature.

  4. I think it's against Twitter's TOS (not sure though) to repeat tweets. I get the message every once in a while "You already said that" when I Retweet (old style) something.

    Also add the option to schedule the template messages routinely (similiar to Outlook scheduled appointments).

    I would love to be able to set a message to stream once a week reminding everyone how they can reach me on Facebook, or Myspace, or Twitter, or my Blog. I would love to be able to remind people once a week about my free mini-course.
