  This is huge, I don't like wasting a column's space just to display my outbound DMs.

  +1 for @Michael Andreas, with Thread feature and this feature, the DM using can be more simple and useful for user.

  Yeah... It doesn't make sense to have all the streams broken apart and not an option to merge them. What's the logic of having my retweeted tweets in another column and not on my @replies one? What's the logic of having one column for received and another one for sent Direct Messages? Doesn't make sense! No sense at all! At least give us the options to change that!!!

  An extension of this would be to add an option to combine multiple accounts from different services (including DM inbox/outbox) as mentioned here: http://feedback.hootsuite.com/forums/40182-hootsuite-com-web-dashboard/suggestions/801963-add-the-option-to-make-columns-which-are-aggregate
