I just signed up for HootSuite and I'm thinking of leaving already... Every other word is HootSuite Photos, or via HootSuite, ect. I'm trying to build my brand names and my client database. Not help you get more HootSuite clients.

Please get rid of the hootsuite branding or at least give clients the option to remove it. Without this, hootsuite is useless to our organization.

Honestly, I want a refund AND i am cancelling my subscription if this is not removed. It is tacky and looks unprofessional

I'm still under the 30 day trial for Pro, but if Fb postings are going to say "via HootSuite," I will have to cancel. As convenient and helpful as HootSuite is, it ruins the perception that my agency is actually the business posting and responding.

I am a new user just upgraded and now will be canceling my account. PLEASE fix this. It's ridiculous that we are paying and you still fill the need to advertise with our post.

I agree. It looks incredibly impersonal and I do not think I will use HootSuite until this feature is added.

I'm an Enterprise customer. I'd give this all 10 of my votes if I could.

This is the only reason why I haven't gone pro with my account. Everything about HootSuite is amazing - except for this aspect (PostPlanner has a cool app, but I think it's limited to FB). Having the logo of a 3rd party link is impersonal. Personal touch is everything, especially in such a highly digitized world.
Implement this feature, and I would be willing to pay a bit extra for a customized brand icon & website (ie: via mydomain.com).

Please allow this! Biggest disadvantage for us is when posting to Facebook... If a fan shares our post it does not then link back to our fanpage with a "from ......." link. Have been manually posting for the time being to avoid this. Will have to change to another option if not rectified soon. Like others I would be prepared to pay extra for the feature...

This really should be an option on all paid/subscribed accounts. Come on Hootsuite, you can see the amount of users on this thread who are considering Post Planner instead.

I have come across the ideal solution.
It does cost 14.99 a month for the white label option although I believe it might be just worth it. You can customize the logo to anything you wish, I changed my one to a white square, making it appear invisible and then the link to any name and website address you want. If you really want to remove any application association you want you might change the text to read "Email" so it appears 'via Email' a good workaround and then have the website link just point back to Facebook.com. It is called PostPlanner and mention my name if you sign up and perhaps I might be my subscription for free. If you think it is worth it. -
