Remove any 'via' tagging from status updates to Facebook
Allow posts to Facebook from HootSuite to look like they were made directly on Facebook.com, with no 'via' tag.
We’re happy to update this feedback request with new information from Facebook. Facebook has recently removed the 3rd party ‘via’ tags from status updates to Facebook Pages. Status updates, links and posts from HootSuite will now appear as they do through Facebook natively.
Thank you for your continued feedback and support!

I want to use Hootsuite for various Fortune 500 Facebook pages that I manage, however the clients won't allow posting from Hootsuite due to the "via HootSuite" link and logo. If I could remove the option, I'd be using Hootsuite across the board.

It has taken me ages to convince my boss to pay for the tool thinking that it will be unbranded... shame, he just called me telling me to stop using as it feeds a not recognised logo into a fanpage for Spanish house wifes... non sense.

I've noticed that the large companies that use Hootsuite like Martha Stewart and TED do not carry the logo on their tweets and facebook posts. Is that a feature of the premium package or only available to big deal companies?

I will stop using this service as well if there is no option to upgrade to a 'brandless' post

The "via HootSuite" takes out the personalization of posts. It's like -peeking under the covers- I'd like for posts to be seemless and manage many posts without my audience feeling like it's robotic and not genuine. This really needs to be fixed. I won't be able to use this platform with this tag fixed to my posts.

If you want a scheduling tool with private branding check out www.mediafeedia.com
Not only are the posts privately branded but they act as a click-through to your website. Check out their example page at: http://www.facebook.com/pages/GeneralMotorsXample/166637713393754

A paid "pro upgrade" should be incentive enough to REMOVE the HootSuite branding. Automation (while convenient) is not received as well by our clients wanting to use social media, ESPECIALLY when it includes somebody else's brand. HootSuite should respond to this as they're losing customers to MarketMeSuite.com & others...c'mon HootSuite--get this done! :)

I cannot start using Hootsuite in my company until it has the ability to remove "via Hootsuite" link and logo". I would like to though...

we have signed up and HS all looked great until we let a scheduled post go out. Now I think we will have to cancel our pro subscription as I cannot have via HS on my business posts. Damn Shame!

I was considering purchasing until I visited this page.Clearly there should be an option to post (for the paid version)without a branded link

I subscribed to the Pro version last night, but noticed the "via Hootsuite" link this morning on my first scheduled post. I'm switching to the free version and will look for an alternative to schedule posts. I don't want people to know that I automate my Facebook posts. I can understand this for the free version, but it should not exist for the Pro version.

Please get this done soon, at least for pro plan members who want to use it in a professional way. Branding the "via Hootsuite" with my own link is mandatory.
Most of my customers ask for this but its a stopper for them to get familiar with hootsuite as pro plan members. -
same here

Just checked out market me suite and they have the right idea. No offense hootsuite, but we are supposed to be marketing ourselves on facebook, not marketing you. We will market you when we tell other people, who what we do, just how great you are (because you removed your logo from the pro package, of course.)

I don't want everyone one to know that I automate my facebook posts. That's the point of a system. no one should see it or hear it!

I never publish to Facebook via Hootsuite because of this and am about to use Argyle Social because they allow branding and white labeling. Hootsuite, why not listen to your consumers? This is important for agencies.

Just use MarketMeSuite. They don't have this restriction.
