  Has this happened yet?

  I JUST downloaded HooteSuite and it's a great idea- but- the purpose is totally defeated if I have to open Facebook on a separate tab to use my chat and then log in and out to chat from each acccount...

  Being able to monitor and send private messages/replies to my own messages in HootSuite would definitely be another nudge toward purchasing the paid-for account. At the moment, the monthly price is a bit too high for the additional 'Pro' features I'd use, but it's frustrating to not be able to monitor my basic accounts and pages. I don't need reports and analytics and the other "upgrade" features ... just to be able to access all pages/groups, a couple more twitter accounts, and (maybe) get my PMs. However, I might consider it just for the ability to access my main FB messages.

  Agreed please add Facebook chat, I'd go pro for that.

  Because I have a thousand more facebook friends on my personal page than I have fans on my business page, I get way more private messages through my personal page. To have Hootesuite work for my business, I need this option on my personal page. Thank you.

  This is key for a business to communicate with its customers personally. Without this then it's just pretty.

  Tbh Hootsuite is kinda useless if you have to open Facebook page to read your messages so you really have to add it if you want it to replace the Facebook page..

  Please add personal messages for personal Facebook accounts! Hootsuite is not worth the monthly fee without this.

  This is the closest feedback option that, I think, references Facebook messaging (DM) for private accounts. Please, please, please. This is basic functionality that is growing in popularity. Thanks!
