include a "flag" or "follow up" feature, like email programs
Often someone will send me an @reply or a DM, and I make a mental note to follow up with them later. It would be nice to "flag" a message to be followed-up with, to stay organized. There's nothing worse than having to scroll through dozens of DMs or @replies trying to find the one you're looking for!

It would also be very helpful for flagging tweets outside of a fixed stream such as search results. Navigating 5+ columns of search results and organizing which to respond to is a pain. If you could flag then clear the results it would be awesome.

Yes - this would be extremely helpful in managing responses that require a bit of research.
