I suggest you change the error messages box somewhere else, it bothers when I´m trying to fix/resend my message. I suggest you send it to the middle of the screen.
If I forget to choose a social network to post to, the error message shows up over the top of the box where I need to make that selection, which is really counter intuitive. It would be nice if that particular error had the message bumped down below the selection box or did some sort of animation/error notice to the box itself.
It would be nice to see cleaner errors when you do something wrong with your social networks. For example; I use HootSuite for Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Slideshare and Wordpress.com, and when one of these networks is not synchronized, when you want to share something and select all these networks, if one of them is not synchronized, the error message is very simple: "There is an error with you update. Please try again". I think that it could be better to classify all errors, and for example for this case, give a cleaner message like "Please, your Facebook stream is not synchronized. If you don't know how to do it, visit this link owl.ly/ojs6h and try again".
In that way, you can do two things:
- See which are the most used streams and study its prioritization for bugs fixing.
- Provide a cleaner way to engage more users.
All your info messages appear just above the icons for your social networks in the account selector. When you want to post several posts in a row, it's really annoying having to wait to remove or add an account because of that message appearing above it. You have plenty of room below, just move it a few pixels down and it would be perfect!!
Move the "URL shortened" and other notifications to a space of their own so they don't obstruct clicking on the target profile. this is fairly annoying waiting for the message to go away before you can select a network.
The status messages that flash up when shortening a link etc, obscure the social network icons which I need to select before sending the tweet. Please can this be fixed!
right now, when a twitter error message appears, it obscures the text entry area. i have to wait for it to go away by itself before i can see the text entry area again. i would love it if it had a close button so i could dismiss it early.
We’re always reviewing how to best display error messages. But, no matter what, we want to make sure users see the errors. Hence the current placement.
Regardless, if there’s a better way to display them, we’re all ears.

My issue is that when having a message publishing error, the message only displays for a fraction of a second. Thus unreadable.
I have been getting this error for the last week or every time I try to bulk post
500 Internal Server Error The server was unable to complete your request.
Why did this happen?
Our servers are just too busy for our own good.
The internet broke (ie. The tubes are full)

We had a little hiccup. Try reloading the page.

Above the textbox or maybe below the network account icons (not sure if that works when someone has a ton of linked accounts). Pretty much anywhere other than directly above the network icons, which I need to click on 9 times out of 10.

I agree. It hampers the user experience when the error message pops up directly over the social network icons, especially when the error is that I forgot to select a social network.
ps. i hate uservoice :(
This would make posting smoother and save time if posting a lot each day
