Show hashtag explanations
When a tweet contains a hashtag, show the definition of this tag. Hashtags can often be cryptical.
The definition can be looked up using the api at http://tagdef.com, found at http://api.tagdef.com. Tagdef is a user-generated dictionary of hashtags.

I would like to see both implemented in hootsuite, the TagDef from Twitter, and the ability to search filter google+ tags.

Google+ uses an extreme amount of Hashtags, which are not the same as twitter's but the wealth of information is certainly there. The hashtags used on google+ normally mark information that users wish to keep available. Tag a post, save the search, it's added. It's a very good tool for finding out what your followers are interested in.
