One of my columns is a twitter list. It's a very focused list, but lately it's getting crowded by retweets. I would like to keep this stream focused to just the people in the list. I do not want to see the retweets in this stream.

Please offer an option where we can hide retweets in a stream.

While typing my thoughts and if some of the thoughts extend, I'd like to have hootsuite just cut it out into a new tweet rather than limit the tweet.... me tweeting... and than having to type the later half on a new tweet. Why can't it just happen as I write?

While it is great that you can export archives as a CSV file, many tweets have commas as part of the message and that breaks the Excel import. Suggest that you allow other delimiters like tab or special characters that you can specify.

I would love a tab format that looks more like email (gmail would be an excellent example). Allow me to nest these tabs as well, and to expand and collapse. This will allow Hootsuite to accomodate more than 20 tabs at the top. Also... when I am in the tab, assume that those are the social media accounts I am posting to.

Facebook now allows 5k characters in a wall post. Hootsuite still only allows 420 characters to be published to your wall on Facebook, which was the old limit. Update Hootsuite please so we can publish 5k characters! Thanks! :)

Cleaning out the direct message inbox either with Twitter or though clients like HootSuite is a nightmare having to do it one message at a time. The ability to select multiple messages (even a "select all" capability) then delete those selected would be a huge plus.

Sometimes we get a call from a client to pause all activity for a period of hours/days because of some approval delay or unrelated crisis. At the moment we go into the Monthly view and drag all the scheduled stuff out an extra period of time. It would be great just to have a pause button that pauses all scheduled comms, ideally at a Team level (because a team usually works on content across one Twitter and one FB account)

I think it would be be great to see a user's entire Twitter timeline in Hootusite.

Currently, PDF, DOC and ODT documents are put up for download. They could be easily converted for reading. This could be done in cooperation with any of the free services. It would aid greatly people to stay online, comment and click more.

Klout filtering disappears with each click onto another stream. Keep it there!

As in if I want to filter out tweets from all users that include "bieber" as part of their username, I would use "-user:*bieber*" that way "@iluvbieber", "@bieber4lyfe" and "@heartbieber4eva" would never show up in my search.

It would be an amazing feature if fan pages could schedule a poll to begin at a certain time and track the results directly through HootSuite.

Allow the user to disable audio notifications, but maintain the visual notification on the tab. Audio notifications get annoying.

I would like to be able to use the calender scheduler to schedule smaller bulk posts by just clicking on what days it should be posted.
