Currently, only the old style retweets can be scheduled. I would like to be able to schedule the new style retweets as well.259 votes
We’ll look into if this is possible with Twitter’s API.
I'd like to have an option to change the timestamp format from 12 to 24 hours (streams and schedule), sometimes i still get confused by that as it's not my country default date format. Not much a problem, but it would be nice256 votes
We’re considering further ways to localize HootSuite for multinational use.
I can't believe it's not possible to upload/or schedule a picture to be uploaded to Facebook without the requirement/necessity of having a Twitter Account as well. Sort this out please Hootsuite, this is a basic requirement.254 votes
While we do not have this on our roadmap at this time, this feature is currently under review.
To explain, we require the Twitter authentication to upload images to our Ow.ly servers, so that each user has their own Ow.ly image account with us that they can log into and access at any time by heading to http://Ow.ly.
To learn more about this, please head to https://help.hootsuite.com/entries/21570832-attaching-images-or-files-to-messages.
The auto fill for @replies does not cover all the people I follow… A general user search would also be great to have. AND all of this should be available on the iPhone app.223 votes
Hi everyone! I wanted to update you on this functionality.
The HootSuite dashboard should currently offer any suggestions of usernames you’ve interacted with in the last 30 days. We max out this list at 50/first letter, but you can delete a username from the list by clicking the ‘x’ on the drop down that appears.
Recently (July 2013), it was discovered that we had not been saving suggestions for the past 90 days, and you may have seen the impact of this in your browser. It is now resolved, and the expected behaviour (as listed above) is now available.
We’ll continue to have this feature ‘under review’ so that we can evaluate the possibility of including all contacts in this auto-fill.

Hi there! Thanks for reaching out to us!
While we don’t have plans for this on our roadmap at this time, it is a great suggestion for future implementation.
Thank you for using HootSuite!

we've already filtered our facebook friends so that we only see certain streams...if we are to really use hootsuite for facebook we need the same listing ability that we currently have for our twitter client189 votes
We’re happy to let you know that you can filter streams by friends, however lists created in Facebook are not yet able to be pulled in through the API.
To create a filtered Facebook stream within HootSuite please refer to the following Help Desk article:
Hope this helps! If you have any other questions, please let me know!
It would be nice to be able to see a stream of my tweets favorited by other users. Push notifications for favorites would be the next step.174 votes
We’ll examine if this is possible with Twitter’s API.
Be able to add a column which would allow chat with our personal facebook contacts172 votes
We aim to extend Facebook functionality in the future.
It is better to have the images uploaded as it is able to draw attention of potential clients. The image will auto describe our advertising status in multiple biz groups.157 votes
Thank you for your feedback, we’ll be looking in whether this is possible with the Facebook API.
Twitter has a stream API which allows a live view of the users twitter stream. Documentation is here http://dev.twitter.com/pages/streaming_api. TweetDeck (and ChromeDeck), and Seesmic both support it, and it's a great feature, would be awesome to have it in hootsuite too.154 votes
This is Twitter functionality we hope to add in the upcoming future.
Currently, you can not create and post a new photo album to Facebook through Hootsuite. We create new albums for almost every event and like to post those new albums as an update - impossible through Hootsuite (meaning I can never schedule this kind of content ahead of time, which is a killer on weekends).149 votes
We’ll examine if this feature is available with Facebook’s API.
Make the contacts sortable (name, klout, etc.); show aggregate data for all contacts (total 2nd order followers, avg klout, etc)146 votes
We plan further updates to the Contacts section of the dashboard. This is a feature we may consider.
I would like to see an unread count in the tabs I create.
Here's a screenshot of what I mean: http://img.skitch.com/20100217-d5whaynh6ekaj444es217q55rr.jpg130 votes
Currently, HootSuite only loads one tab at a time in order to preserve bandwidth and API calls.
However, we do see how useful this feature may be, and may consider it for future updates to our API call process.
Could it be made possible to access trending topics by location. Currently we only see US topics, and being in England, they don't make much sense!122 votes
Thanks for the suggestion! We’ll look into the possibility of adding the option to change location in the future.
Can't believe that with the inevitable phone upload not being properly in portrait or landscape that Hootsuite doesn't give us any way to rotate. Seriously??118 votes
We will continue to look into ways that Owly images can be better manipulated after an upload (such as rotating).
However, for users that are having trouble with pictures uploading with the wrong rotation, we do have a suggestion. Many users have found that toggling the orientation lock on their mobile device, specifically iOS, has resolved this issue. To do so on iOS, double tap the home button, swipe once left and press the orientation button.
If this doesn’t resolve the issue for you, don’t worry! We’ll still keep this feedback item under review.

I would like my pictures to post to FB groups, and not just my personal wall, and of course have the picture be embedded...not a link to a picture.115 votes
We’ll look at further ways to include photos with more Facebook functionality.
If you could create a desktop client for HootSuite (a native one), it would be a real boost to your excellent service.
It could be written in something like Qt, so it would become cross platform and also very fast.113 votes
While we have no plans for a traditional desktop app, we’ll examine the use case scenario for one.
Ow.ly stats are great, but I'd like to use shortened URLs in other applications (Web pages, Facebook, etc.) and would still like to capture statistics on clickthroughs. Currently using bit.ly for this, but would prefer if I could do it with ow.ly.112 votes
We’ll explore further options with Ow.ly’s API for third party developers who want to build with it.
It's great I can attach random pictures, but we already have photo albums we want to add to. Right now I have to visit our pages in Facebook to add pictures to these albums.111 votes
Unfortunately, Facebook’s API does not allow for this. If they ever do, however, we’ll consider it.
Please add new myspace110 votes
We’ll be looking into the possibility of adding new MySpace in the future. Thanks for the request!
