add click tracking for photos uploaded through hootsuite. the ow.ly link should provide click stats.
75 votesWe’re always looking for ways to improve analytics, especially for images. We’ll look at implementing this in the future.
As a workaround, you can ‘re-shrink’ the image link, and a trackable ow.ly link will be generated. Hope this helps!

allow streams to be moved between tabs
I'm on a tab, I do a search. Now I want to save that column, but maybe to a different tab. There's no way. I have to close the search, go to the correct tab and redo the search to save it. I should be able to drag & drop to organize columns between tabs.

add keyboard shortcuts to every action in every version of HootSuite, especially the Web
It would also be nice to be able to edit them in case there's a conflict and to be able to switch them off (this should apply to every enhancement). At the least give me post, schedule, choose network and navigate the current column. Mousing just isn't an efficient mechanism when you mostly type or read.
72 votesSince this feature request was created, we’ve added some keyboard shortcuts, such as “Shift + Enter” to send.
We continue to consider more ways to enhance HootSuite with keyboard shortcuts.

Allow sending email notifications to "on duty" team members on @replies and DMs
This is the one feature that I really miss from CoTweet. Basically, team members get to select whether they are "on duty" for a particular account, and if so get emails every time there is a new mention or dm. This allows us to be responsive without having to stay logged into the web app all day.

Email alerts for failed scheduled updates
Having updates go out on time is important. If updates aren't going out as scheduled, I need to know ASAP - even if I'm not logged in to Hootsuite.

include original tweet text beneath ow.ly images!
I used to use yfrog for free, and "upgraded" to Hootsuite's paid service. I'm shocked that my tweet-text isn't showing up under the images I'm posting on ow.ly. This is a deal-breaker unless it gets fixed...

Rotate Ow.ly images
Can't believe that with the inevitable phone upload not being properly in portrait or landscape that Hootsuite doesn't give us any way to rotate. Seriously??

We will continue to look into ways that Owly images can be better manipulated after an upload (such as rotating).
However, for users that are having trouble with pictures uploading with the wrong rotation, we do have a suggestion. Many users have found that toggling the orientation lock on their mobile device, specifically iOS, has resolved this issue. To do so on iOS, double tap the home button, swipe once left and press the orientation button.
If this doesn’t resolve the issue for you, don’t worry! We’ll still keep this feedback item under review.

add a scheduler to the RSS/ATOM feeds.
Use Case: an organization might want to have auto-updates during a certain time period (overnight or weekends for example) but wanted to manually update it during business hours.

Schedule Post Facebook Notes
Right now, it is only posting status messages. I would like to see the ability to post full notes, with an image formatted the way FB allows.

As a news organization we'd love to have RSS feeds post automatically, instead of only every hour. This would help significantly with breaking news links.

Automatic Translation of non-english tweets
There are many non-english tweets in some of my streams. I would like them to be automatically translated to English. Should be a preference that says what language you want them to be translated to.

Show the share link in Facebook status updates posted from hootsuite
When I post a status update from hootsuite to facebook it doesn't include the share link. It only shows if I post directly in FB.

Post New Photo Albums to Facebook
Currently, you can not create and post a new photo album to Facebook through Hootsuite. We create new albums for almost every event and like to post those new albums as an update - impossible through Hootsuite (meaning I can never schedule this kind of content ahead of time, which is a killer on weekends).

Create a desktop client for HootSuite
If you could create a desktop client for HootSuite (a native one), it would be a real boost to your excellent service.
