Hi there! Where are you writing comments through? If you are using the Compose Message box, the character counter will count down from the largest number of characters available, and a red t pops up if you go over the Twitter maximum. Does this help?

You can already do this with Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn. Specific streams display only your messages. We may roll this out with other social networks for a future release.

allow users to use their default avatar or other picture when one can't be auto-pulled from the post being posted (for FB and LI)

Hi Maren, thanks for posting! Can you please clarify what you are looking to do? Is this when posting links manually to LinkedIn and Facebook? Or are you posting through an RSS feed? Happy to look into this for you!

twitter filters
ability to add several filters for twitter stream, to for instance delete tweets that contain "I just favourited" or "I just uploaded".

Add support for bib.ly Bible reference shortener in the Shrink field.
It isn't a URL shortener, per se, but when referencing Biblical passages in HootSuite posts, I'm consistently copy-pasting the short reference links from bib.ly to HootSuite. If I could just type in the address of the Bible passage I want to link to and hit the Shrink button, it would save time.

Input text field be more intelligent
I would like to see the text input field change depending on output destination. if I am only selecting twitter output source the field should default to 140 char. but if I pick a facebook only the text window is larger. What really would be great have an option to enter text into multiple input text field pop up based on each destination of output. I find myself doctoring a tweet down to 140 c. but then sending a second post to facebook with more expanded info . maybe a twitter text input screen and an option to post to…
1 voteWhen both Facebook and Twitter are selected, there should be a red notification below the Compose field for when you go over the limit.
That said, we’re always considering ways to improve the Compose field’s UI.

Include a tweet shortener option for outgoing tweets
This would be great for tweets that exceed 140 characters to shrink and to &. ;you to u; etc.

Allow 1 min intervals for bulk tweets from .csv
Limiting the total daily bulk tweets to 50 is probably a good idea, but the 5 min interval between tweets doesn't allow the uploading feature to assist in moderating a tweet chat, which is usually 1 hour in duration. Allowing more than 10 tweets in 1 hour would be extremely helpful.

remove notifications more easily
I would to remove the red circle notifications of unread tweets when I'm scrolled to the top of the column, I hate having to refresh the feed it every time I want to clear the notifications

Allow streams to be filtered in Pro/Enterprise based on team assigment - e.g. only 'not assigned', 'assigned but not resolved' or 'resolved'

This would make it much easier to monitor progress and highlight anything that's been overlooked in a particular stream.

Implement bulk operations on lists.
For twitter I want to be able to scroll through my "following" list and select checkboxes next to contacts and then click a button to add or remove all those tweeps to a list.

Make it possible to choose which profile that I am commenting from.
I manage several fan pages for multiple locations of the same company. I would like to be able to comment on a post on one page, from any one of the other pages, including my personal page.

i got 800++ group in my acc ,any sotcut clear all group in my account ,in 1 time or i click?
1 voteThanks for the suggestion. For users that have several groups added, it would be helpful to have a ‘remove all’ or quick remove function. We’ll consider adding this in the future.
