Seesmic Ping appeals to a lot of people for its simple elegance of functionality. It is easy to do things quickly. And to be able to time announcements is another important feature. We are now approaching the threshold of bloat in many Apps, not least social networking. Seesmic Ping has its own place in the ranks of social networkers and I hope you will not be yet another company to disappoint by destroying the thing you bought.

I see from the search results; 'assign', that a number of assign tasks are under review (cool), but I don't see the option to assign tweets from lists to team members. If we use lists on Twitter to filter, which is a great use of Twitter, then it would also be great to be able to assign that hard work. Hoping it's planned in amongst the chain of 'assign tasks' and it's just been too obvious for anyone else to mention.

At present the 'Assigned' and 'Resolved' bar is the same colour. It'd be really useful if the 'Resolved' bar appeared as a different colour (Green or Red) just so you can differentiate between what needs working on and what's resolved quickly.

I suggest you for the re-conceptualization of Hootie .. For example in its design Please move or resize the Status Box from the upper left .. its hard to update status moving my mouse and clicking it to the upper left it's such a waste of time to use the new social network selector too .. Please reformat HootSuite's design for Droid too ..

Not all my clients are in the same timezone and it's painful converting it when I schedule - ideally if I want to schedule a post for 1pm I don't want to have to do timezone maths every time - this is definitely something where I will make errors.

I have clients in 3 different timezones, so it would be great if I could somehow alter the settings for each network!

I frequently encounter twitter.com status links that I'd like to answer within HootSuite to keep an audit trail. If all I have is a specific Twitter status URL, I'd like an easier way (easier than picking through the stream manually) to access it within HootSuite to assign, respond, etc.
