create a "white label" version of Hootsuite so agencies can customize it with their logo and colors and resell it.40 votes
We’ll examine the possibilities for agencies to customize their dashboard.
Use the API of the simple to configure yourls open source project to shorten links with the use of the own domain. ie. pro7.de/galileolive40 votes
We may consider more URL shorteners in the upcoming future.
Allow scheduling of RSS feed updates. For instance to look for an update at 9:30am, 12:30am, and 4:00pm. Market open, midday, and close. :)40 votes
While we don’t check RSS feeds for specific times, you can choose which time interval to check for new updates.
We may consider specific times in the future.
Keep in mind that current RSS technology does not allow for precise updates on the hour. However, doing a general check usually allows us to retrieve the latest post within minutes.
Having a minimum width of 300 px makes it impossible to use as a widget on blogs. Allow us to customize the width so it can be used in a variety of ways.40 votes
We continue to consider more ways to make embeddable streams more user-friendly.
It's great that we can schedule facebook posts with the image, but the blog post has to be live to do this. I would love the ability to enter my blog admin credentials so when I schedule a week's worth of blog posts to auto post in the future I can also pre-schedule the facbook posts before the blog post has gone live. We need a way for hootsuite to get into the blog and pull the info. Or whichever way is best; the bottom line is: it doesn't do any good to schedule a facebook post for a blog post that's already live. I want to be able to schedule a blog post in advance AND schedule the facebook post for that blog post, so both the blog post AND the facebook post for it automatically go up when they should in the future. Now, if I enter the info for a scheduled blog post that isn't live yet, it just gives me the main blog page info, which is useless.

We continue to offer further ways to make HootSuite more user friendly to bloggers.
When posting to Wordpress there is no way to set the title of the post. I suggest using the first line for the title and the rest for the body.40 votes
We hope to add additional WordPress functionality in the future.
Like Gtalk, Msn, OCS, or other instant messenger, when you press the ESCape key, it closes the current window. For the browser hootsuite I would like to have a similiar aproach. Sometimes im writting a tweet, suddenly I give up that idea and dont want to submit it. I'd like to, when i press the ESCape key, have the box that i was typing getting cleared and closed.39 votes
This is a great feature suggestion that would improve HootSuite’s usability.
Instead of kicking the toggle back and forth between Auto-Schedule and not, I would like to see a way that RTs or replies are not auto-scheduled and it is recognized that, that information should be sent in real time.38 votes
This is an excellent feature suggestion, and we’ll continue to monitor how many users would like to implement this feature.
facebook users already create lists to keep them updated on profiles of their choosing. twitter lists like this are already integrated into hootsuite. I'm proposing the same for facebook. thanks for your consideration.38 votes
We hope to extend Facebook functionality in the upcoming future.
Currently, when scheduling an update with image attached to it, the image will be visible in ow.ly's gallery before the update is posted to the networks. I suggest hiding all images attached to scheduled updates, or uploading them to a temporary place until it's time to post them, then move them over to ow.ly38 votes
This would be a great feature for users uploading photos as part of their scheduled content. We’ll look at the feasibility and functionality of something like this in the future. Thank you!
The IFTTT integration has been down since Hootsuite implemented new security. Please fix it! It is a lifeline for automating social media.37 votes
Hello! Thanks for reaching out to us!
Thank you for your interest in resume the HootSuite integration with IFTTT! While this is not on our roadmap at this time, we hope to resume integration in the future.

Support goo.gl as a URL shorter and tracking option. It also offers statistics and is frequently used by posters.36 votes
We’ll review which additional URL shorteners to add to future releases.
It would be wonderful if, as is with some other clients, I could filter out tweets from specific users, filter out mentions of specific users or applications (like paper.li, for example) or by keyword.36 votes
HootSuite now has filters based on keyword and Klout score. This feature is currently exclusive to users on a Pro plan.
Filters based on application and user is also something worth considering.
I work for a large travel agency and my company has been using enterprise version of your software for quite some time. In addition, we have also been using CoTweet to fill in some gaps that we encountered with HootSuite, both browser and mobile versions. However, and due to my almost personal connection to HootSuite as I also use it for my private account, I wanted to share with you, in this private manner some of the things that would greatly rise value of HootSuite in the eyes of my company's leads, and I will be the first one to vote (and my voice counts quite a bit there) HS up. So, here are 2 major suggestions I wanted to start off with and see your opinion on whether this type of communication is worth the time, or should I try to go directly to HS's PR department? Either way:
1. Browser Version: ability to see if someone is following you on the spot like with mobile app would be incredibly helpful.
2. Ability to export followers... the ones following me, my tweets for specific time period, (possibly?) my followers tweets for specific time period. Ability to export to both Excel (for further analysis and drills) and PDF for immediate basic who's following/who are we following management reports?
What is the possibility of this type of development to happen?
Thanks in advance,

This is a great idea. We’ll continue to monitor this feature request to gauge support amongst other HootSuite users.
We’re exploring further platforms to develop for.

Interesting suggestion. We’ll examine this further.
The new autoschedule option for hootlet is great... but What if I wanted to use it to schedule posts for a network for the next week...
There should be an option IMO to limit how close together posts could be posted on each network via auto schedule, (say 12 hours apart for example) then when im looking for "next weeks posts", I can autoschedule and they will fill up the week.34 votes
We’re always looking at further ways to make autoscheduling easier for our users.
The current system allows bulk uploading to multiple accounts. However, you have to upload the same message to each account. There should be a field "ACCOUNT" in the CSV that indicates which handle the message should be uploaded to.
This would greatly ease the burden on managing multiple accounts. The more fields in the bulk upload, the better as far as I am concerned, but indicating the specific account is the most important by far.34 votes
This would be an interesting idea to include in bulk uploading. We’ll look at adding this feature in future releases. Thank you!
I'd rather use a native app on my mac than a mac created from the web app by fluid.33 votes
Great idea. We’ll continue to monitor this suggestion to gauge interest from other HootSuite users.
Sometimes we get a call from a client to pause all activity for a period of hours/days because of some approval delay or unrelated crisis. At the moment we go into the Monthly view and drag all the scheduled stuff out an extra period of time. It would be great just to have a pause button that pauses all scheduled comms, ideally at a Team level (because a team usually works on content across one Twitter and one FB account)33 votes
Interesting idea! We’ll look at the options for adding this functionality in the future. Thanks!
