Hootsuite is working on Opera, but there are some little issues. Please fix these and support Opera Browser...33 votes
Though HootSuite does not currently support the Opera browser, we hope to do so in the future.
When you open Hoolet for page in Firefox for example. It adds "- Mozilla Firefox" to post. Have it ignore common browser names from default post.32 votes
Currently, the Hootlet grabs text from a website’s tag. It’s come to our attention that some installations of Firefox, particularly in Windows, insert the browser name there. We’ll look at ways to filter that out.
When viewing your twitter feed, please include images and videos inline so you can see them at a glance, without having to do anything extra.32 votes
This is a great suggestion that we agree would be more beneficial to our users.
I work for a large travel agency and my company has been using enterprise version of your software for quite some time. In addition, we have also been using CoTweet to fill in some gaps that we encountered with HootSuite, both browser and mobile versions. However, and due to my almost personal connection to HootSuite as I also use it for my private account, I wanted to share with you, in this private manner some of the things that would greatly rise value of HootSuite in the eyes of my company's leads, and I will be the first one to vote (and my voice counts quite a bit there) HS up. So, here are 2 major suggestions I wanted to start off with and see your opinion on whether this type of communication is worth the time, or should I try to go directly to HS's PR department? Either way:
1. Browser Version: ability to see if someone is following you on the spot like with mobile app would be incredibly helpful.
2. Ability to export followers... the ones following me, my tweets for specific time period, (possibly?) my followers tweets for specific time period. Ability to export to both Excel (for further analysis and drills) and PDF for immediate basic who's following/who are we following management reports?
What is the possibility of this type of development to happen?
Thanks in advance,

This is a great idea. We’ll continue to monitor this feature request to gauge support amongst other HootSuite users.
Similar to this http://feedback.hootsuite.com/forums/40182-hootsuite-com-web-dashboard/suggestions/2396546-upload-images-directly-to-twitter-com-not-to-ow-l I'd like to request the ability to upload images directly to Google+ pages, rather than having to link to http://ow.ly/i/.
Being unable to do this makes sharing images through Hootsuite across all three networks pointless. You're better off doing it manually on Facebook, Google+ and Twitter for the best optimisation as the images are larger, clearer and more appealing when opened/viewed directly in the various social networks!31 votes
Great suggestion! We’re always looking for ways to improve the appearance of posts to social networks through HootSuite.
The compose box is ok for Twitter, but when doing FB & G+ messages, it would be helpful to go past 4 lines. Make the box expandable to any size I want by letting me drag the corner, just like in a lot of forums. it is currently too small.31 votes
Interesting idea! We’ll look at altering the design of the compose message box in the future. Thanks!
There's no Hootlet for Opera? Common Opera is now Chromium-based, all you have to do basically is to upload the same extension to https://addons.opera.com31 votes
Saw this previously posted and marked as complete but it is not resolved. When adding a profile to a Twitter list ALL lists should show up not just the lists that are in a Hootsuite stream on the dashboard. When I try to add a user to a list only those lists show that are in streams and all other lists are missing. This is a lame function that has been bugging me for a year. Please fix it it's a no brainer.31 votes
This is something we’re considering to implement.
I often share streams with my team, but they are not always useful for forever. I'd like to be able to delete, edit or otherwise be able to control and refine these shared streams.
This would reduce clutter and make it easier for team members to find new shared streams.31 votes
Thanks for your feedback! We’ll look at the possibility of this in the future.
My client currently uses CoTweet and I use Hootsuite. I am trying to convince them to switch to Hootsuite and upgrade to an Enterprise plan but they absolutely need the ability to receive email notifications when they are mentioned in a post or someone replies to a post. Is this a functionality you are considering?31 votes
Great idea, and one we’ll review.
I wonder who follows me on own timeline. I'm getting confused many twitter and would like to give unfollow in some, but I'm wondering if that person follows me. I want to clean my own twitter by HootSuite. The system could be color eg red color for who I follow and come after me. Green for my fans and yellow for who I follow, and she follows. I know it something. The colors help a lot. Thank you for your attention30 votes
Have you used the People Browser in HootSuite? This easily displays all the info of who follows you and so on.
Allow for doing a +1 on posts in our Google+ Page stream (like the Facebook stream allows a Like) and also the ability to do a reshare of someone's post in the stream (like the Twitter stream allows a retweet). t is too cumbersome to open each post in a browser window every time you want to perform these functions. The ability to comment on a post in the stream does work well already.30 votes
We always look at ways to further improve social network integration.
I think "Favorite" icon should NOT be hidden in pull-down menu.30 votes
We are considering further ways to improve Twitter usability with HootSuite.
It would be great to have the option to select "Auto Schedule" for the RSS feed publishing. This will help prevent our accounts to post too many things at once. The only options are the frequency of which HootSuite will check the RSS feeds.
Thank you!30 votes
This is a great idea! We’ll look into implementing this in the future. Thank you!
It seems that I can't pull in a stream of my direct messages from Facebook & LinkedIn where I can with Twitter. This means I can't get away from using LinkedIn & Facebook entirely. I can't imagine this would be a difficult feature to add, but what do I know?30 votes
We’ll examine if LinkedIn and Facebook’s APIs support this functionality.
Although available for facebook pages, it would make my life a lot easier if I had this option on my profile account too.29 votes
We’ll examine unique ways to display emoticons within HootSuite.
We assign escalations to a CS team who then receive an email notification, the current notifications don't have any unique reference in the email url which makes it a nightmare for logging responses our side and theirs. Could we please have the functionality to at least indicate which network the contact relates to (Facebook, Twitter) and the time/date of the contact? This would really help make this a practical application for our organisation to grow with and roll out to other businesses. Many thanks29 votes
This is a tremendous idea. In fact, it is one we ourselves would love to use. We’re notifying our dev team for further review.
Right now, if you toggle on auto-schedule in HootSuite's web dashboard, it also toggles it in the Hootlet, and vice versa.29 votes
This is a feature we’re considering at the moment, but would like to further gauge interest from our users.
When more than one person has access to an account, we're allowed to assign that tweet to a certain team member. When the tweet is responded to, it says "So and so responded to this". This means the tweet has been taken care of, and we can all move on.
I'd like the option to mark tweets in that column as "read" or "acknowledged", even if we haven't responded to them. Some tweets need no response, like a "Thanks for the RT!"
This would be seriously beneficial to my OCDness.28 votes
A great feature for team collaboration.
