Post links to Facebook with image thumbnail and title/preview text
It would be great to add the ability to post links to FB with the same features already available in Hootsuite web dashboard, i.e. include an image thumbnail and title / text preview

Just the image would truly be better. I used another app this morning that does it but I prefer HootSuite. Thanks for being awesome!

Yes. This is a MUST! This app will be no use to our radio group if we can't upload photos from mobile apps direct to Hoot Suite.

When you add pictures to hootsuite ipad or iphone app the link apears only not the picture. When you use the web interface it shows the picture. Would be great if this could be added!

highly necessary for android app!!! the lack of this feature forces me to return to my desktop. Bummer!!! Also: whem uploading a pic to a facebook page, i'd like the pic to be displayed in the timeline feed, and not just a link like it is now.
This seems like a pretty URGENT update to me..

Agreed! Or just photo upload the whole image into a post! Seesmic can do it.

+3 for me. I didn't realize until tonight that the web version of Hootsuite handles this correctly, but the iPhone version does not.

To me, this is the ONLY thing that makes hootsuite more valuable to me over TweetDeck (who gives me FREE UNLIMITED accounts).
I manage multiple social streams for organizations I work with, and the FB link image preview is a huge asset.

It's sad because formerly I was able to do this using the "regular" hootlet from within my iPhone (I just saved the hootlet javascript in a Safari bookmark), but now I can't use it anymore, because I get redirected to a page requesting me to download the iOS app...

One of the best features of the web version is that it previews the links you post to Facebook. The iPad and iphone don't do that. For marketing purposes, this is important be causes people are more likely to read your links when they see the preview. I really hope to see this addition to your already great product.
