Offer the option to both retweet AND quote a tweet w. comment. Recent update switched to retweeting.
With the most recent update, the retweeting feature changed to an auto re-post versus having the option to quote someone elses tweet & comment on it. Offering both options makes sense. Also, can't "retweet" to Facebook anymore or to multiple twitter accts at once.
PS Thanks for the Instagram integration!
Rather than just being able to RT would like to be able to quote and add to another users tweet
What I mean is - to allow users to Retweet without quoting or RT @...
Users could do this before.
In latest versions, retweets show name of original sender, sometimes chopping the end of twits, frustrating when links are cut.
Please go back to previous display mode or at least allow its configuration.
I often need to edit RTs - that is, make MTs - to fit the 140 char limit and/or to add my own thoughts. I used to be able to do this, but now, whenever I RT, it just automatically sends the RT without letting me edit first. (I'm using the iPad app)
I often want to add a comment to a retweet and I can do that on the web interface but not on the iPhone.
I LOVE how you can choose which way to retweet on the fly in iPad. Please offer that across platforms! (Right now it's frustrating I can only do it from my iPad).
You can indeed change your retweet style. Here’s how: http://help.hootsuite.com/entries/294345-hootsuite-for-iphone-how-to-change-retweet-style
This is for iPhone, it works on iPad.

Not a very helpful "help"! For users new to Hootsuite, how are they going to know which is which? I presume that the "RT:" type allows editing before sending? Perhaps you could update that page with just a tiny bit more information.

I second this!
Give option in preferences to change the light background color to darker please

Nevermind :-) I see the option for either or both in preferences now! Yay!
