Editing scheduled tweets on iPhone app
Please, add a feature to edit a scheduled tweet! When you schedule a tweet on the app and want to modify something, you have to delete it and post it again!
Allow editing of pending tweets
Unable to check queue or update items in queue from phone.
On my iPad, I can't edit a scheduled post.
Change content and time (whether on auto-scheduled or manual already) of a scheduled message directly within the iPad.
Enable vieuwing pics in scheduled tweets, hootsuite added wrong pic seveasl times!!
Currently the only option to change a tweet or it's schedule is to delete the tweet and create it again.
Unless I've missed it, can you edit a message? It seems like you can only delete it and redo it. Not edit it. Thanks.
For some reason you removed Pending Tweets from the main screen. That sucks. Assuming you put it back, there needs to be a way to change the day/time of a tweet that's already been scheduled.
can we please have the ability to edit scheduled message on the mobile app
On iPhone, I can't change the timing of scheduled posts. Or else how to do this is far from obvious. This is really important, for example if you have scheduled tweets that might suddenly become insensitive due to news events, etc.
If we can delete a pending/scheduled tweet, why not be able to edit it as well?
I posted a scheduled time to post to my FB & Twitter from my Laptop. To be able to view & edit my scheduled post from my mobile would be great.
I'm a new user, so forgive me I can already do this.
By the way, you guys are absolutely awesome!
Phone app only allows deleting no editing or rescheduling
On my system there is no listing of pending tweets as described in help.
Having the same feature as online website.
On my mobile, you can't to rescheduled something that is already planned
The Hootsuite applications for ipad and iphone should also have an edit feature for scheduled tweets. Right now they can just be deleted and not edited or re-scheduled. Its cumbersome doing back to the laptop to edit them.
I really love HootSuite on the web, and absolutely love the ability to schedule tweets like a month out, using this feature as a scratchpad - a more robust drafts feature if you will. Then, when I'm back at my computer, I can click on my "Pending" tab and see what I've drafted, fix what needs fixing, and then either send the tweet or reschedule it. It's really powerful!
I would love to see this type of functionality come to the iOS apps. Do you have any plans for supporting the ability to edit pending/scheduled tweets on iOS? If not, how about the ability to store more than one draft tweet, and have that sync back to HootSuite on the web?
I think something like this would be really powerful on mobile, and is really the only thing from keeping me from using HootSuite full time right now. It may even be a great feature for the Pro plan, which I would subscribe to immediately should this feature make it there.
Thanks for a great product, and I hope it keeps getting better with suggestions like this!
This feature would certainly be handy on the iOS app. We’ll look at implementing this in the future. Thank you!
+1 on adding ability to edit scheduled tweets. Seriously, how hard can it be to implement this feature?! I can't even so much as change the time on the tweet. For a MANAGEMENT tool, I can barely manage anything. Please please please add this feature.
It is realy a shame that since 2010 and 2013 an edit button was not implemented. Tgis is why I am using more bufferapp than hootsuite. But for sure hootsuite is having other advantages. I suggest strongly implementing the edit button for smartphone app and ipad app.
Dear HootSuite: Have you read these customer requests re editing scheduled posts? Have you COUNTED them? Are you patronizing us or just ignoring us? Will it motivate you if we start posting negative customer reviews on web sites, bulletin boards, computer software blogs? Would it help if we cc our beef to Walt Mossberg at The Wall Street Journal? Please, tell us how much ruckus to raise -- and the ruckus shall begin.
Sarah: Some companies listen to their customers -- others actually act on customer requests. Which type is HootSuite? Your "under review" post is a year old, and still no option to edit scheduled items in the HS mobile app. Hmmmm....
Thanks, Sarah. Nice to work with companies that listen to their customers. I love HootSuite!
Make room for an EDIT button (in the SCHEDULE window) by getting rid of the largely useless "Location" button at top right of the mobile screen. Does anyone ever use the Location feature?
I agree! I often use HootSuite on the road, using my iPhone. I NEED TO BE ABLE TO EDIT OR RE-SCHEDULE items already scheduled.
Please do this!!

Is anybody maintaining the Hootsuite mobile App? This is an ancient obvious request and is still under review?
It's unfortunate that someone suggested this three years ago and the idea has received nearly 600 votes. Could you please make this change to the app?
Agree with user below. I can't justify paying for pro version until this feature (edit scheduled tweets) is added to mobile versions!!
Both iOS and Android users would really benefit from being able to edit scheduled tweets. Much easier and more efficient vs having to copy, paste, edit, schedule and delete former version!!
This idea has up to 2 years Under Review... What is taking so long?
I'm a new user to hootsuite for iPad. How do you schedule tweets on iPad version.

It would be useful for the Android app as well. It is still way behind the capabilities of the desktop dashboard. Until that happens I can't justify the pro version, as to me it's not "pro" enough yet.
This should have been done long ago

YES PLEASE add this feature is is extremely irritating that I have to go online and login to edit a message... If I have to do that what's the point of using the app?

Oh yes, please allow us to modify a scheduled tweet on an iPad.....it is so frustrating to spot a tiny error and to have to redo the whole tweet rather than just change it right then and there!

Yes, not being able to edit scheduled tweets sucks! Has anyone heard anything from hootsuite?
Lee Newman commented
Yes! Seems ridiculous to use the ipad app to compose a scheduled tweet...then, oops...meant 3pm not 3am... But now have to open hootsuite in Safari to change the scheduled time! Silly....
