Hootsuite for Android Honeycomb
Hootsuite version optimized for tablets Android Honeycomb like xoom and more
There's lot of useless space in the tablet, why you don't consider using columns or streams instead the features limited phone version?
Really need an Android Tablet version that handles multiple streams. You've already done it well for the iPad, now bring it to Android!
With the Google Nexus 7 and other large-screen form-factor devices being released, it would be great if HootSuite could support the tablet form factor better.
Sure, the "standard" app is functionally complete. However utilizing the screen real-estate of a tablet could allow HootSuite tablet users across Android *and* iOS to benefit from the following features:
* Multiple Streams displayed on the one screen.
* Expanded controls to retweet and favourite spread out within the tweet in the feed.
* Controls oriented down the side or bottom of the tablet for easy "thumb use".
* Smart use of ergonomics knowledge in the Tablet UI design.
I love Hootsuite, but I just can't use it in my Honeycomb Android tablet because the app is made for smartphones, not tablets. Please, guys, optimize Hootsuite for Android tablets or just let we access the desktop web version with the browser. Many thanks :-)
Please consider to be the first publishing a multi-column, multiuser Tablet version, with combined look&feel of Normal android and Web versions
The android app is made for phones. And hootsuite.com is not accessible from the tablet's browser. It redirects to hootsuite.com/android with no option to login
I like the HootSuite dashboard in my browser. The Android app is created for smartphones and does not use the screen size of tablets.
Or let me al least visit the dashboard in my tablet browser, instead of pointing me to the market to download the app.
it would be great to be able to manage my personal, facebook, and company accounts from a bigger screen.
As you offer an app for iPad with special features, it would be great if you'd support the GalaxyTab with a similar app
We’ll still investigating the possibility of a HootSuite for Android tablets. Thanks for your suggestion!

As a Hootsuite Pro customer I would really like to see to see this developed as soon as possible.
Now even more urgent for me since I just got my Nexus 10 - Single stream display is a waste of screen space!

A fully functional social media dashboard for teams isn't tied to one platform. There's no excuse for not having an android tablet app.
Whoops! I didn't realize that my search criteria became the title. If possible, please CHANGE title to "Multiple Columns on Android Tablets - When?"
I recently had an opportunity to try the Hootsuite for iPad app, and it was absolutely fantastic. I'm really interested in the Google Nexus tablet and I'd love to see the same functionality on that platform.
need to also have the ability to load bulk files from a tablet
I would like it to have a tablet version for Android tablets. I notice that it's still under review and the last response was in Dec 2011. Can you update us on your progress for it?
Please, tablet optimised UI for ice cream sandwich would be perfect

Just got an ASUS Transformer Prime running ICS ... was disappointed that the Hootsuite app didn't allow multiple columns since I have all this screen real estate to play with!

This is a must have. The concept of a social media dashboard is severely limited if it is tied to a computer or a limited application for a mobile phone. If you're not going to release an android tablet app and associated widgets any time soon then can you at least allow access to http://hootsuite/dashboard from android tablet devices so that we can access a little more than what's available in the android phone app?
