can we get rid of this on the Android list or move it to the Blackberry list. It is no longer relevant on this list and distorts the ranks/priorities of the community...

I'm pleased to hear that there's progress being made here. I'd like to add one suggestion though -- several blackberry twitter clients have had troubles at launch because they've sacrificed performance for the sake of features. While I LOOOVE features, an unresponsive and slow app is a show stopper. Please make performance a top priority.

I echo Steve Cradley. The value proposition "HootSuite helps organizations ..." is compelling and clear. Please move this from 'planned' to 'started'. There must be thousands of BB app developers who would be enticed by an opportunity to join an company that is providing usable tools for businesses to leverage social media on established platforms. The BB can multi-task.

I have several large clients that I recommend using HootSuite for managing there Social Media presence. However, several of my large MultiNational clients use Blackberry organizationally so they are a bit hamstrung when they want to tweet on the fly. So a Blackberry app would open up a huge segment of customers to you guys that you are currently leaving on the table. Tell me how I can help you develop this App.
And Hootsuite is a great app, truly love it, and recommend it in all my presentation/workshops on Social Media and also to my consulting clients, but how are you guys making money? Not noticing any advertising nor am I aware of any paid subscriptions...and would be willing to pay if one existed, just curious.

As much as I love Hootsuite, I'm probably going to keep using Ubertwitter. How about partnering with them? ;)

Is there any new information about the status of the project? I'll be great to access Hootsuite via Blackberry :-)

As a BlackBerry user I propose getting fast to develop this app for the BlackBerry devices. I'm working in a big organization in wich I'm sure it'll be a great new.

Ok a little rant here, as a BlackBerry user I'm tired of seeing iPhone getting all these apps but nothing for the BlackBerry, personally I had issues with AT&T and will never use their service so unless Apple lets other providers carry the iPhone I won't ever have an iPhone but want some of these apps, HootSuite included.

Looks like a blackberry app is in the works? That would be awesome!!! In my mind that would cement HootSuite as THE third party application for social media. Thanks!

BlackBerry and iPhone are the two market leaders in the mobile telephony field. There is a HootSuite application for the iPhone. It seems only logical that there should be one for the BlackBerry as well. I would certainly welcome it!

I think we are beating a dead horse. This app from what I have seen, is a often requested, but they keep ignoring. Apparently the droid app is in the works (according to the other post.), but not blackberry. Anyone know something other than hootesuite that can be used effectively for social networking, that has a blackberry app?

agreed! It would sure beat using a myriad of other apps to get to all my networks.
