Push notifications are currently in PRIVATE BETA for the first 10,000 users who download the latest version of the iOS app (v2.4.0). Download it quick to get on the list. We’ll be opening to more users as soon as we can.
Push notifications of DMs, replies, likes, and mentions is a great idea. I certainly miss that feature from when I had another app on my Blackberry.

I agree that some type of tweetlonger is needed in the HoitSuite for iPhone.

After review, we must decline this feature request. As a Twitter Product Partner, HootSuite must take special care to not violate Twitter’s Terms of Service, specifically articles I-5-A, I-5-D, and II-4-B (https://dev.twitter.com/terms/api-terms)
Please note that while TweetDeck once had this feature, Twitter has since removed it. We must comply with Twitter’s wishes, and will therefore not implement this feature request.
Most definitely need to add this feature as it is useful when retweeting with a quote.
Couldn't agree more. The ability to add/edit a place is a necessity. Why it wasn't included is not understandable.
