The RSS Reader app provides a quick and easy way to view RSS feeds in the HootSuite dash. Simply add your feeds individually, or upload OPML files to import multiple feeds, and get a stream of organized stories and articles that you can not only preview, but share to your social networks.

After review, we must decline this feature request. As a Twitter Product Partner, HootSuite must take special care to not violate Twitter’s Terms of Service, specifically articles I-5-A, I-5-D, and II-4-B (https://dev.twitter.com/terms/api-terms)
Please note that while TweetDeck once had this feature, Twitter has since removed it. We must comply with Twitter’s wishes, and will therefore not implement this feature request.

We have now created a feature that informs our users of new tweets while maintaining the column scroll position. This is now available in auto-refresh.

The List feature in HootSuite is made possible because it’s available via Twitter’s API.
We’ll review if this is possible within Facebook’s API.

I'm surprised this hasn't been voted higher. In my opinion this is essential. Currently my facebook stream is almost unusable because of all the clutter from distant friends and those stupid apps.
