We have now created a feature that informs our users of new tweets while maintaining the column scroll position. This is now available in auto-refresh.

This is a powerful tool, and we’re looking at the ability of Twitter’s API to meet this request.

At this point the Facebook API doesn’t allow us to do this. We’ll continue to research it, and implement down the road if possible.

this is by far my #1 wish and need. I was hoping for it with the new update. I'm very glad to see it in the works and planned!
