In order to integrate self-hosted blogs, HootSuite needs an API for these blogs. This is easy to do with WordPress.com since the API is centralized, but a different story altogether with self-hosted blogs. Still worth considering since there’s a lot of self-hosted WordPress blogs out there, though.

You can now have the equivalent of multiple admins through the account owner/team member framework.

It is now possible to monitor your Facebook wall posts within HootSuite.
As for Inbox messages, we’re considering further ways to extend Facebook functionality with HootSuite.

Just like we have for twitter with @replies and DMs it would be WONDERFUL if I could have columns on my facebook tab for incoming inbox messages, incoming wall posts, incoming requests, and the same for outgoing as well. Wouldn’t that be great?!

Currently, HootSuite only loads one tab at a time in order to preserve bandwidth and API calls.
However, we do see how useful this feature may be, and may consider it for future updates to our API call process.

Dear mister nice designer and coder…… please let us reorder the social icons in the “Select Social Network(s)” on the write panel. When you start getting many networks for many different companies up there it gets really difficult to differentiate which are which. It would be so nice if I could drag and drop them like I do with my columns so that I put different ones next to each other. Please please please…..
