At this point the Facebook API doesn’t allow us to do this. We’ll continue to research it, and implement down the road if possible.
I manage a few facebook pages for independent local businesses and non profits, and the ability to schedule an update with a tag would be a powerful tool for networking and connecting with other local businesses, artist, musicians, etc. It would also be a strong selling point to bring new users to hootsuite. I do like the functionality of hootsuite for managing multiple socila networks, but I would consider moving to an api that would allow me to tag users. Please dont consider that a "do it or I will leave" type statement. I will continue using hootsuite, but I am looking for something else to use when I do need to schedule an update with a tag, as it is an improtant ability to have.
