With the new release of HootSuite 5 today, you can now choose between 3 different design themes with different colors, fonts etc.

Love to see theming. Make those themes not only about aesthetics but also about functionality. Everyone uses hootsuite differently with other information needs. Focus on those different user groups and create a theme for every group.
Take me for example. I'm in numerous social networks and are quite active. I also follow quite a lot of people. for me it's crucial to see as much updates within one screen. Scrolling will make me scroll forever because of the countless updates. So a smaller font, making navigation as minimalistic as possible. But also make the posting of updates visually almost non existent will create quite some space for content.
