After review, we must decline this feature request. As a Twitter Product Partner, HootSuite must take special care to not violate Twitter’s Terms of Service, specifically articles I-5-A, I-5-D, and II-4-B (https://dev.twitter.com/terms/api-terms)
Please note that while TweetDeck once had this feature, Twitter has since removed it. We must comply with Twitter’s wishes, and will therefore not implement this feature request.

Hi there! I just tested this on multiple browsers, operating systems, and machines, and I can confirm “Home”, “End”, “PgUp”, and “PgDwn” still work.
If you have any further issues, please contact us at http://help.hootsuite.com.

I just tried it again, in FF, and clicking on the scroll thumb does not activate a column for keyboard cursor key control of scrolling as it used to. But if I click on a tweet in a column, that column then is activated. This is better than my results yesterday, when nothing activated the cursor keys, but not as good as it used to be. IAC, it's not unworkable, and I hope it can be improved a bit as time permits. Thanks for your attention.

The function is already there in the Twitter feed. It just needs to be respected by HS. This is very important.
