Happy to announce that you can now choose between old-skool “classic” RTs and Twitter web native style ReTweets.
Thanks for your ideas and participation!

This is a duplicate of: http://hootsuite.uservoice.com/forums/40182-hootsuite-com-web-dashboard/suggestions/856061-give-users-the-choice-of-old-style-retweets-or-new?ref=title I think... may be best to move votes to one topic?

HootSuite has now implemented the following permissions for team members: Advanced, Basic, and Limited. Each permission level has different capabilities for publishing and moderating.
Advanced and Basic are available for Pro. Limited is currently exclusive to Enterprise users.

I forgot to say: this shouldn't be limited to owners. It should be possible to designate team members as moderators/approvers and give them this role. In our organisation, the account owner is a generic account that is not used for day-to-day logins, and I'd imagine that many companies would take this same approach for security reasons.

The current shared drafts is a good first step, but ideally we would be able to see them as a shared column, and assign drafts to other team members for review and scheduling. This could be the first step to a more robust workflow system where you could set team member duties, roles, and rights more granularly.

This was implemented on June 2011, and is now a requirement for all services that utilize Twitter’s API for DMs.

Right now, you can do this in a search or keyword column by adding the “-” argument in front of the term you’d like to filter. This functionality is not available yet in home feeds and mentions columns, though.

In case you missed it … in last Thursday’s release, HootSuite added a media preview tool which allows you to attach photos and videos via links to your Facebook Wall posts.
A bit more details about the differences between what content posts to Walls and what posts to Status at: http://ow.ly/25vHZ
Thanks for your input — we’re very pleased to bring these features to you.

I don't know if this is something that HootSuite can do through the API, but the ability to post YouTube links into Facebook wall posts and have them inline as videos is incredibly useful. It would be great if these could also be dealt with the same way as Facebook does.

I do this from UberTwitter all the time. Sometimes sending tweets to myself, and other times bringing the tweet to the attention of someone who isn't on the network's team.
For this feature it would be critical to include the tweet and also a link to the tweet's canonical URL on Twitter so the recipient can verify its validity.
Something like
Subject: Tweet by @username forwarded by {Account Name}
Twitter Name (@twitterid) posted the following at {date}:
Body of the tweetView tweet online: http://twitter.com/username/status/25695464
--
Forwarded using HootSuite, get it now: http://hootsuite.com/

I'd personally love to see it as a drop-down option to "quote" when you have the Twitter-style RTs active. This would allow quick native RTs and still have the option to provide editorial content when necessary.
