Evergreen Content: the ability to build a library of reusable posts/content.

I am talking specifically of emulating similar behavior of MeetEdgar.  I really like the tools available from HootSuite that allow me to quickly add any webpage, idea, or anything else to my queue, but as a (very) small business I need more automation.  My blog content and certain content from my suppliers is ALWAYS relevant to my customers.  I want to be able to add certain content to "fill in the blanks" in my schedule from my library of evergreen content.

Specifically, the ability to add an RSS feed and to decide which of those items make it to the evergreen library would be very useful.  Right now I am using both services to make sure something is ALWAYS getting posted.  I use HootSuite for new content and Edgar for evergreen stuff.

  • This is a terrific idea - and would get me to pay for Pro.

By the way, if I set this up in Edgar first, I probably won't want to move to Hootsuite. So I would put this high on the development list for Hootsuite!
  • I suggested this to them a couple years ago. I'm thinking about jumping to MeetEdgar because that amount of automation would free up a TON of my time. I'd definitely be willing to pay a bit more than I already do with Pro if they'd implement it.
  • I agree with these comments, and am wondering why it isn't part of their pipeline.
