facebook page home feed
When using a facebook page it only shows the page's feed...
Would be nice to be able to see the facebook pages HOME feed (of all the other pages this page has liked)... until this is possible I will still need to log into facebook to catch this stream. would love to be able to just stay in hootsuite.
Would be great if you could integrate my pages newsfeed into HS so I can see the activity from pages that 'my page' likes on Facebook. That way I can share other pages posts, like them etc via HS instead of logging into FB to do so.
I have a Facebook page for my company and I would like to post something on a 'Spotted' page but I can't. It would be nice to do that straight from my page which I only run from Hootsuite.
Would be a brilliant new feature.
Post things on one anothers walls, as a learning provider, putting vacancies on spotted pages etc
If you add a Facebook profile you can have a news feed in your hootsuite pannel. However if you have a fanpage you cannot have a news feed from the wall. For example see the new posts from the fanpages you liked with your very own fanpage.
I should be able to see my Facebook Newsfeed. I can for Twitter. What's up?
Twitter has the access to view the home feed, but we can't view what other are posting on Facebook who we follow. It would be nice to have that feature for Facebook as well
It would be great if we were able to add a stream for the News/Home Feed from our company Page so we can follow the posts from the companies we have Liked/Followed. It would also and possibly see company notifications.
This seems a bit obvious to have been missed, but I use HootSuite for BUSINESS. I don't really want to see all my friends' personal updates on Facebook, but I DO want to see the important updates from the business pages that I follow.
Is it not possible to set my stream to display just my liked page updates?
Just showing up in the notifications, some posts get missed.
news feed - top stories for facebook
Something fantastic would to be able to see your facebook page's home page. To see what the community your page has 'liked' is doing.
When I am on facebook and go to 'my pages' managed by me, it shows a news feed of things posted by other 'pages' that my 'page' 'likes'. That is not currently an option to add for view and notifications. Could you do that?
I would like too see the posts of the pages i like at Facebook pages, i can only see what y post. Thanks
I would like a stream for my facebook page news feed - the posts of people who have liked my page.
I don't understand why this functionality doesn't exist if you're able to do it for a personal profile? Once again irks me that I pay for the PRO subscription and do not have this feature. I want to be able to Like, Share and Comment on these things.
Allow to add funpage to review is no admin.
View newsfeed from a facebook fan page.
Could you provide an ETA for having access to Facebook pages home feeds? I manage multiple pages and my hope was that Pro would give me the ability to easily see the posts of pages that they've "liked" so I can interact via Hootsuite - a central places - rather than log into each individual page in Facebook. I imagine this is something every Hootsuite user who manages multiple FB pages needs. I'll continue to pay for Pro for another month or so, but if that capability isn't added soon, it will make no sense for me to use anything other than the free version of Hootsuite. :(
As soon as this is a capability, I will upgrade to a paid account!! Although I can see my FB Page wall posts, the news feed stream only shows updates from friends in my personal FB account. I need to view the updates from the companies that I like as my FB page.
When you add a facebook page you only see two columns: wall (with your own posts) and events.
But I am not able to see the post of the facebook pages I follow from my facebook page. The only way is to follow those pages from your personal profile and add it to hootsuite.
It would be called if you could add the "latest news" column of a facebook page so I can see the updates of the facebook pages I follow. Facebook already have this option in the left menu when you are login as a page
Great application, really usefull but as other people have pointed out, it would be really useful to see a Page's news feed. Otherwise I need to log back in to Facebook seperately which defeats the object of the app.
Good work though otherwise!
I am the administrator on a couple of Facebook business Pages, but I cannot create a News Feed stream based off of this, but only on my own personal Facebook page. I would like the option to follow the News Feed (of those other Facebook pages that the Facebook Page I administrator "likes") for my administrator Facebook Pages
Please add an option to add a stream to see the newsfeed for a Facebook Fan page you manage...if a user is trying to use HootSuite for all of their social media interaction, it's impossible if you use a Fanpage. I have to use both Hootsuite and the Facebook platform.
I can create a News Feed stream for my personal profile, but not for my company profile. I'd really like to be able to follow what's happening with the pages my company 'likes'
The new FaceBook Page system allows Pages to have their own news streams and comment on other Page's stuff. When is HootSuite going to adopt these changes?
Right now the only stream is from my FB profile. I would like to see what my Favorite Pages are posting.
Hey, I want to ask as now you can use your facebook fanpage as user profile.. and can comment or like other pages too and we get their news feed. but if we add our fanpage to hootsuite it only show newsfeed only by status update of your fanpage.. but in facebook fanpage account it also shows newsfeed of liked pages too. will hootsuite introduce any option to get newsfeed of liked fanpages too?
We thank you for your on-going patience as we continue to investigate different possibilities to view and manage home feeds for Facebook Pages.
Your feedback is much appreciated and we do hope to see this in the future.

Could you please explain what is the difficulty here technically?
IS THIS A JOKE HOOTSUITE? YOU ARE WASTING MY TIME ON YOUR SITE! GET THE FACEBOOK HOME FEED AND I WILL RECONSIDER YOU.

I am absolutely shocked that this hasn't had any traction. I did a search on this topic because I am NEW and a PRO user; to my surprise there was a forum that addressed this starting back in December 2012.
I have to be honest this really makes me nervous. Its taken almost 2 1/2 years to address this. Wow! Thank God I have 30 days to cancel. Guess time will tell.
Is there any movement on this? The question was posted over four years ago now and the issue still stands. Facebook is a huge part of our social media presence; it'd be great to have more control within the Hootsuite dashboard. Thanks!

Bueller? Bueller? Bueller?
I'm still on my free 30-day trial and the most important features (this being one of them) that are available through the native apps and websites are disappointingly missing from Hootsuite. I see no point in spending $10/month when I still need to manage every post from every account I'm in charge of. Sad.
I agree with another comment: what's the point of Hootsuite one of the two major social media sites is not supported? Seeing my timeline is well and good, but the newsfeed is what is really important.
seeing the news feed is a must. Whats the point of hootsuite if I have to go to the facebook website to look at / respond to items on the newsfeed... Also chat is almost just as important
This is so annoying, why cant we see our home page on our facebook profiles??? what the point in investing so much money into something which is completely useless??? Wait of my time!!
This is the one issue that will cause me to cancel before my 30 day free trial is over.
Otherwise, Hootsuite would be perfect but I need that FB newsfeed to keep a pulse on my industry. It is a shame that Hootsuite and Facebook cannot play nice. Work it out people!

Agreed. Because this option is not available, I have to leave the hootsuite interface and interact directly on Facebook.
Why cant I see my facebook home page feed? This is incredibly annoying and renders Hootsuite useless. I can see my Twitter home feed.
Can someone from Hootsuite explain why this is not supported yet?!

Just joined & very disappointed to see it isn't possible to view the Home feed of the pages I manage. Previous commenters have said it all really, very important aspect for any business page owner, can't believe this has been an ongoing issue for so long!

I have to agree it is massively essential to social media management to have Facebook's feed available within the Hootsuite stream
I would really need the Facebook page news feed...I can't believe it's not on the Pro version...
I have just signed up for the pro version and really can not believe that I can not access facebook page news feed. This is the most important thing to access via the stream facility.

This is ridiculous. Page news feed is where each admin curates content relative to his page. This is where I source 90% of all shares on my facebook page. Not having this in Hootsuite is plain stupid. This is a deal breaker for me, sorry Hootsuite but you just lost a paying customer.
Clearly HootSuite doesn't listen to its customers. Can you remember the last time they added any feature in response to customer feedback? The last thing I noticed was a minor cosmetic revision which had nothing to do with functionality.
I've migrated to Buffer but kept my HootSuite subscription begrudgingly for its minimally exclusive features. I've never seen such a dominant service provider be so extraordinarily slow and unresponsive to its paying customers.
Do you have any updates on progress with this? Networking through Facebook would be much easier if we could access a stream to our newsfeed.
It would also be great if we could see who is sharing our posts. I know that it doesn't show on my feed, but I can see it if I sign into Facebook separately. Of course, like everyone else, I'd prefer to go only through Hootsuite and do everything in one place.
