I often share streams with my team, but they are not always useful for forever. I'd like to be able to delete, edit or otherwise be able to control and refine these shared streams.
This would reduce clutter and make it easier for team members to find new shared streams.39 votes
Thanks for your feedback! We’ll look at the possibility of this in the future.
I would like to be able to view my 'Interests' on Facebook as a stream on my Dashboard. For instance, I do marketing and pr for a number of hotels. The hotels are grouped on my Interest list and I'd like to be able to see when each hotel posts something that i might want to share with my various social networks.
We’ll look at the ability to do something like this from Facebook’s API. Thank you for your suggestion!
I have set up a few geocode search streams.
My problem is that they appear as:
Human rights geocode:51.4688672,-0.2548867,35km
Human rights geocode:52.50,13.42,35km
Human rights geocode:27.42,89.68,300km
I struggle to identify which one is UK, Germany, or Bhutan.
It would be very useful to have an option to rename stream.38 votes
Great idea! Thanks for sending this is. We’ll look at implementing this in the future.
We need clean the assignments area sometimes. It's important to us remove or delete the resolved assignments. Just add a remove or delete option to the assignmets area.37 votes
Great idea! For now, you can filter out resolved assignments in the top view by choosing “Open” in the drop down.
I would like to be able to reorder the schedule post via a drag and drop style in the "List" view.36 votes
We’ll further examine the use case for this feature request and gauge interest from other HootSuite users.
Instead of kicking the toggle back and forth between Auto-Schedule and not, I would like to see a way that RTs or replies are not auto-scheduled and it is recognized that, that information should be sent in real time.36 votes
This is an excellent feature suggestion, and we’ll continue to monitor how many users would like to implement this feature.
When FB friends post updates with games they are playing (like Farmville) I like to hid them. They don't show up on FB after I hide them, but they keep showing up in Hootsuite. Hidden people are removed from Hootsuite, but not hidden games36 votes
We hope to add further Facebook functionality in future releases.
Allow scheduling of RSS feed updates. For instance to look for an update at 9:30am, 12:30am, and 4:00pm. Market open, midday, and close. :)36 votes
While we don’t check RSS feeds for specific times, you can choose which time interval to check for new updates.
We may consider specific times in the future.
Keep in mind that current RSS technology does not allow for precise updates on the hour. However, doing a general check usually allows us to retrieve the latest post within minutes.
I'd rather use a native app on my mac than a mac created from the web app by fluid.36 votes
While this is not in the immediate road map, we hope to revisit this in future updates to our Web Dashboard.
Thank you for your suggestion!

It would be great to have the option to select "Auto Schedule" for the RSS feed publishing. This will help prevent our accounts to post too many things at once. The only options are the frequency of which HootSuite will check the RSS feeds.
Thank you!36 votes
This is a great idea! We’ll look into implementing this in the future. Thank you!
If Google + is the next massive thing why can we not add it to our networks on the mobile app. Gazillions of us update on the go!!36 votes
Hootsuite is working on Opera, but there are some little issues. Please fix these and support Opera Browser...36 votes
Though HootSuite does not currently support the Opera browser, we hope to do so in the future.
Similar to this http://feedback.hootsuite.com/forums/40182-hootsuite-com-web-dashboard/suggestions/2396546-upload-images-directly-to-twitter-com-not-to-ow-l I'd like to request the ability to upload images directly to Google+ pages, rather than having to link to http://ow.ly/i/.
Being unable to do this makes sharing images through Hootsuite across all three networks pointless. You're better off doing it manually on Facebook, Google+ and Twitter for the best optimisation as the images are larger, clearer and more appealing when opened/viewed directly in the various social networks!35 votes
Great suggestion! We’re always looking for ways to improve the appearance of posts to social networks through HootSuite.
Now that Twitter has launched its new Poll feature, can we see this on Hootsuite in the near future please?35 votes
I was truly devastated when I realized that the Hootsuite Owl logo was changed a few months ago. Prior to being the drab, dark and mysterious black owl, it was an inviting owl that really made me wake up wanting to log into my Hootsuite account. I highly recommend that you bring it back.
Saw this previously posted and marked as complete but it is not resolved. When adding a profile to a Twitter list ALL lists should show up not just the lists that are in a Hootsuite stream on the dashboard. When I try to add a user to a list only those lists show that are in streams and all other lists are missing. This is a lame function that has been bugging me for a year. Please fix it it's a no brainer.35 votes
This is something we’re considering to implement.
When viewing your twitter feed, please include images and videos inline so you can see them at a glance, without having to do anything extra.35 votes
This is a great suggestion that we agree would be more beneficial to our users.
Please make it possible to check our RSS feed for updates more often than every hour. Our news stories are highly time sensitive, so checking every hour simply isn't enough. Every quarter would be acceptable. Make this possible as soon as possible or we will be forced to switch to a competing service34 votes
A new app has recently been added to the Hootsuite App Directory, RSS Auto Publisher, that publishes feeds up to the minute. You can check it out here: http://ow.ly/z9okY
Seriously. Not everyone likes social media. Not having a better way to reach out to a representative makes me think this is a phishing scam.34 votes
This tag is supported by the Open Graph protocol: http://developers.facebook.com/docs/opengraph/34 votes
Interesting suggestion. We’ll examine this further.
